Frame your credentials around client-facing outcomes
KPMG evaluates Partnerships Managers on revenue growth and relationship depth, not just coordination experience. Structure your resume around measurable wins, such as alliance expansions or cross-practice deals closed, before you approach the application stage.
Target KPMG's industry-aligned partnership verticals
KPMG organizes its partnerships function around sectors like financial services, technology, and private equity. Position yourself against one specific vertical rather than applying broadly. Hiring managers respond to candidates who understand how their alliances serve that sector's audit and advisory clients.
Understand which visa fits your citizenship and role
KPMG sponsors H-1B, E-3, and employer-sponsored Green Cards for this function. If you're an Australian citizen, the E-3 avoids the H-1B lottery entirely and can be filed on a faster timeline. Confirm your visa category before outreach so you can address it directly if a recruiter raises it.
Search current KPMG openings through Migrate Mate
Use Migrate Mate to filter Partnerships Manager roles at KPMG that include visa sponsorship. It surfaces active roles tied to verified sponsorship history, so you're not guessing whether a specific office or practice area will support your visa.
Ask about LCA filing timelines during the offer stage
KPMG's HR team files a Labor Condition Application with the DOL before an H-1B or E-3 petition can move forward. If you're switching from another employer's status, ask when they plan to file the LCA so you can manage your current status or grace period without gaps in work authorization.
Prepare your specialty occupation documentation early
USCIS requires that Partnerships Manager roles at professional services firms meet specialty occupation standards. Gather your degree transcripts and any evidence linking your field of study to the role before the offer is finalized. Gaps between your major and the job description will need a written explanation.

Find Partnerships Manager at KPMG JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does KPMG sponsor H-1B visas for Partnerships Managers?
Yes, KPMG sponsors H-1B visas for Partnerships Manager roles. As a major professional services firm, KPMG has an established immigration program and works with in-house or retained counsel to manage petitions. Because H-1B is subject to the annual lottery, your petition would typically need to be submitted in April for an October 1 start date, so timing your offer accordingly matters.
How do I apply for Partnerships Manager jobs at KPMG?
Applications go through KPMG's careers portal, but roles that include visa sponsorship aren't always labeled clearly. Migrate Mate lets you browse verified Partnerships Manager openings at KPMG filtered by sponsorship eligibility, which saves time compared to manually reviewing each listing. Once you identify a role, apply directly through KPMG's site and flag your visa needs early in the recruiter screen.
Which visa types does KPMG commonly use for Partnerships Manager roles?
KPMG uses H-1B most frequently for this role, but also sponsors E-3 visas for Australian citizens, which bypasses the lottery and allows two-year renewable status. For longer-term hires, KPMG may initiate employer-sponsored permanent residency through EB-2 or EB-3 PERM-based pathways. The right category depends on your nationality, degree, and career timeline.
What qualifications does KPMG expect for a Partnerships Manager role?
KPMG typically expects a bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field, plus demonstrated experience managing strategic alliances or commercial partnerships. Familiarity with how professional services firms structure client relationships, especially across audit, tax, or advisory practices, carries significant weight. Prior experience in accounting, consulting, or financial services firms is a common differentiator among competitive candidates.
How do I think about the timeline from application to visa sponsorship at KPMG?
From the point of an offer, KPMG's immigration team typically files the Labor Condition Application with the DOL first, which can take one to two weeks for certification. The H-1B petition follows, with a standard USCIS processing window of three to six months unless premium processing is used, which shortens adjudication to around 15 business days. E-3 applicants often move faster since consular processing in Australia can be scheduled within a few weeks.
