Frame your credentials around KPMG's engagement model
KPMG's Project Manager roles sit inside client-facing service lines, not internal IT or operations. Align your resume and PMP or CAPM credentials to client engagement delivery, audit timelines, and stakeholder reporting cycles rather than generic project lifecycle frameworks.
Target advisory and transformation practice openings specifically
KPMG's advisory and management consulting practices file more Project Manager sponsorships than its back-office functions. Filter your applications to transformation, risk advisory, or regulatory change management roles, where sponsored hiring is most consistent and recurring.
Confirm your visa category before the offer stage
KPMG sponsors H-1B, E-3, and Green Card pathways for Project Managers. If you're an Australian national, clarify E-3 eligibility early because KPMG's recruiting team may default to H-1B without raising the E-3 option, which bypasses the lottery entirely.
Anticipate the LCA timing in your start date negotiation
Before KPMG can file your H-1B petition, DOL must certify a Labor Condition Application, which typically takes seven to ten business days. Build that window into your expected start date conversation so your recruiter isn't caught off guard by the lead time.
Use Migrate Mate to identify open Project Manager roles at KPMG
Sponsorship-eligible Project Manager postings at large professional services firms rotate frequently and don't always surface on general job boards. Browse Migrate Mate to filter KPMG openings by visa type so you're applying to roles where sponsorship is already confirmed.
Prepare for PERM documentation if pursuing a Green Card
KPMG does sponsor EB-2 and EB-3 pathways for Project Managers, but PERM requires proving no qualified U.S. worker was available. Document your specializations, particularly in regulated industries like financial services or healthcare compliance, to strengthen the labor market test record.

Find Project Manager at KPMG JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does KPMG sponsor H-1B visas for Project Managers?
Yes, KPMG sponsors H-1B visas for Project Manager roles, particularly within its advisory, audit, and transformation practices. Because H-1B is subject to an annual lottery, timing your application to align with the April filing window is critical. KPMG's immigration team typically coordinates the petition process internally once an offer is extended and your role qualifies as a specialty occupation.
How do I apply for Project Manager jobs at KPMG?
Applications go through KPMG's careers portal, where you can filter by practice area and location. For sponsorship-eligible roles specifically, Migrate Mate lets you browse verified KPMG Project Manager openings filtered by visa type, so you're not wasting time on postings that exclude sponsored candidates. Tailor your application materials to the specific service line you're targeting within KPMG.
Which visa types does KPMG commonly sponsor for Project Manager roles?
KPMG sponsors H-1B, E-3, and immigrant visa pathways including EB-2 and EB-3 for Project Managers. Australian citizens are well-positioned to pursue the E-3, which has no lottery and allows two-year renewable periods. The right visa category depends on your nationality, the specific role, and whether you're pursuing a temporary or permanent pathway.
What qualifications does KPMG expect for Project Manager roles requiring sponsorship?
KPMG generally expects a bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as business, finance, information systems, or engineering, along with demonstrated experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects. A PMP or CAPM certification strengthens your profile considerably. For advisory-track roles, experience in regulated industries like financial services, healthcare, or government contracting carries meaningful weight in the hiring process.
How long does the visa sponsorship process take after receiving a KPMG offer?
For H-1B, KPMG must file by April 1 for an October 1 start, meaning offer timing relative to the cap season significantly affects your start date. E-3 processing at a U.S. consulate typically runs two to four weeks from interview. For Green Card pathways through PERM, the full process from filing to approval can span one to several years depending on your country of birth and priority date.
