Frame Your Experience Around Revenue Impact
Deloitte's Partnerships Manager roles emphasize quantifiable client growth and alliance revenue. Before applying, restructure your resume to lead with deal size, partnership pipeline value, and cross-functional outcomes rather than relationship management duties alone.
Target Business Units With Active Alliance Programs
Deloitte's technology alliance partnerships, particularly with major cloud providers, generate the highest volume of Partnerships Manager openings. Filtering your search by practice area rather than just job title surfaces roles with the most consistent sponsorship activity.
Distinguish Your Visa Category Early in Conversations
Deloitte sponsors H-1B, H-1B1 visa, and E-3 visas for this role. If you're Australian or from Singapore, clarify upfront that you qualify for E-3 or H-1B1, which avoids the lottery and typically moves faster through Deloitte's internal approvals process.
Use Migrate Mate to Surface Active Openings Efficiently
Partnerships Manager positions at Deloitte span multiple practice areas and geographies. Use Migrate Mate to filter sponsorship-confirmed openings by role and visa type, so you're targeting positions where Deloitte's sponsorship infrastructure is already confirmed and active.
Understand How Deloitte Handles LCA Timelines
Deloitte files Labor Condition Applications with DOL before submitting H-1B petitions to USCIS. During offer negotiation, confirm your expected start date allows at least two to four weeks for LCA certification before your petition can be filed.
Prepare for Competency-Based Interviews Tied to Deloitte's Alliance Framework
Deloitte's interview process for Partnerships Managers typically includes scenario questions about managing competing stakeholder priorities across partner ecosystems. Prepare examples where you've navigated joint go-to-market agreements or resolved commercial conflicts between alliance partners.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does Deloitte sponsor H-1B visas for Partnerships Managers?
Yes, Deloitte sponsors H-1B visas for Partnerships Manager roles. Deloitte has dedicated immigration support infrastructure and works with outside counsel to manage petition filings through USCIS. Because H-1B is subject to the annual cap and lottery, timing your offer and application relative to the April filing window is critical if you're starting from outside the H-1B system.
How do I apply for Partnerships Manager jobs at Deloitte?
Applications go through Deloitte's careers portal, but roles are spread across multiple practice areas and business units, which makes them easy to miss. Migrate Mate filters Deloitte's Partnerships Manager openings by visa sponsorship eligibility, so you can identify confirmed sponsorship-eligible roles without manually reviewing each posting. Tailor your application to the specific alliance or practice area the role supports.
Which visa types does Deloitte commonly use for Partnerships Manager roles?
Deloitte sponsors H-1B, H-1B1 visa, E-3 visa, and employment-based Green Card pathways including EB-2 and EB-3 for this function. H-1B1 applies to nationals of Singapore and Chile, while E-3 visa is exclusive to Australian citizens. Both avoid the H-1B lottery, which can meaningfully accelerate your timeline if you qualify.
What qualifications does Deloitte expect for a Partnerships Manager role?
Deloitte typically expects a bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field, with several years of experience in alliance management, business development, or strategic partnerships, ideally within a professional services or technology context. Familiarity with partner ecosystems such as Salesforce, AWS, or Microsoft is frequently referenced in postings. USCIS requires the role to qualify as a specialty occupation, so degree-field alignment matters for visa eligibility.
How long does the sponsorship process take after receiving an offer from Deloitte?
Timeline depends on visa type and whether premium processing is used. For H-1B, DOL must certify the LCA before USCIS can receive the petition, adding two to four weeks before the petition clock starts. Standard USCIS processing runs three to six months. E-3 and H-1B1 visa petitions can often move faster. Confirm your projected start date with your recruiter early so Deloitte's immigration team can plan accordingly.
