Supervise students in practice areas, locker rooms, busses, and at all times during the season. Exercise patience, tolerance, and diplomacy in relations with all players, parents, co-workers, contest officials, and spectators. Interscholastic activities are an extension of the classroom and as such, your actions, behavior, and interactions with our student-athletes should be reflective of this.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- NFHS Fundamentals of Coaching certificate (at employee's expense) Fundamentals of Coaching Course
- NFHS Concussion certificate Concussion in Sports Course
- ATC Student-Athlete Health & Wellness certificate (must review PowerPoint and sign a document affirming PowerPoint has been reviewed)
- Act on Facts Suicide Prevention Training OR NFHS Student Mental Health and Suicide Prevention certificate Student Mental Health and Suicide Prevention Course
- Current CPR w/AED (On-line classes are not accepted; EMT license supersedes this requirement)
- Current First Aid (On-line classes are not accepted; EMT license supersedes this requirement)
- Current Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS UPON HIRE
- Bloodborne pathogen training after hire by TUSD Risk Management Department*
- Proof of immunity to rubeola (measles) and rubella (German measles), or proof of MMR immunization.

LOCATION: Santa Rita High School - Pantano & Escalante Area
Season Dates: Fall - August into November
Six (6) split stipend positions available for $2000 each.
STIPEND to be prorated for days missed in the sports season due to late starts or early terminations.
This position is temporary and not eligible for district benefits.
