INTRODUCTION
The University of Tennessee Health Sciences College of Nursing is seeking a full-time non-tenure Instructor/Assistant Professor.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Primary teaching responsibilities include RN to BSN concentration. Teaching responsibilities include both didactic coursework and clinical supervision of students. Responsibilities include undergraduate in-person and online didactic and clinical teaching. Additional teaching responsibilities include teaching across programs and/or concentrations. Research/scholarship activities, as well as service responsibilities, will be determined in collaboration with the Department Chair.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Master’s Degree in a nursing specialty from an accredited university required. (Doctor of Nursing Practice Degree preferred.)
LICENSES: Unencumbered licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Teaching experience in an RN to BSN or BSN program preferred. Experience in curriculum development, in-person, and online teaching preferred. Simulation experience preferred. Evidence of scholarship and professional service activities is preferred.
