Job Description:
The Global Alliance Head will build relationship with new partners and continue the relationships with existing partners to drive revenue. In this role, he/she will work closely with global sales and marketing team as well as executive management to develop strong, lucrative, and positive relationships with our partners. Natural ability to network, build rapport, and explain the value proposition of our digital/ AI technologies is a must. The person should also have experience in a sales role and can qualify future partners who can add value.
Responsibilities will include:
- Evangelize digital services to the partners and forge strong partnership with them.
- Develop sales and marketing strategies to engage partners and directly drive opportunities.
- Work with sales team on partner driven opportunities and collaboratively work with them until closure.
- Identify partner led opportunities and bring them to sales pipeline.
- Build strong relationship with partner executives.
- Manage and expand existing partnership and develop new ones.
- Develop business plans with partner companies and translate that to revenue.
- Coordinate with partners on events, talks, seminars and other marketing events.
- Manage coordination between partner technical resources and practices teams.
- Maintain and expand a network of contacts within the digital space.
- Work with marketing team on partner events to establish a strategic space to improve revenues and relationships.
- Other partner development duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- BE/ MBA degree from a reputed institute
- Minimum of 8 to 10 years of experience as an alliance manager in an IT services company
- Experience building relationships with global product/services companies.
- Minimum of 3 years sales experience in IT services company
- Experience of building partnership with niche product companies
- Strong understanding of digital concepts and a comfort working and communicating with technical teams.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Good articulation skills.
- Self-motivated and an urge to close deals with partners.
- Ability to create proposals, value propositions, and marketing material for partners.
- Ability to do presentations and be effective.
