Verify your ARRT credentials transfer correctly
WellSpan Health requires ARRT registration for Radiology Technologist roles. If you trained outside the U.S., confirm your foreign credentials qualify for ARRT certification before applying. The equivalency review process can take several months, so start it before you begin outreach.
Target WellSpan's multi-site imaging openings
WellSpan operates hospitals and outpatient imaging centers across south-central Pennsylvania. Roles at smaller satellite facilities sometimes move faster through hiring than flagship hospital positions. Search specifically across the full network rather than limiting yourself to York Hospital alone.
Align your modality specialization with posted openings
WellSpan frequently posts openings across CT, MRI, and interventional radiology. Tailoring your application to the specific modality listed, rather than applying broadly as a generalist, signals readiness and reduces back-and-forth during credentialing reviews that slow sponsorship timelines.
Use Migrate Mate to surface WellSpan sponsorship openings
WellSpan Radiology Technologist roles with active sponsorship availability aren't always easy to identify from job boards alone. Migrate Mate filters specifically for verified sponsoring employers, so you can find and track WellSpan openings matched to your visa type without manually screening hundreds of listings.
Clarify sponsorship type during the offer stage
WellSpan sponsors multiple visa categories including H-1B, TN, and employment-based Green Cards. Before signing an offer, confirm in writing which pathway they're supporting and whether premium processing is included. The H-1B cap deadline and PERM labor certification timelines affect how quickly you can start.
Prepare your J-1 waiver documentation early if applicable
If you're on a J-1 Exchange Visitor visa with a two-year home residency requirement, you'll need a USCIS-approved waiver before WellSpan can file an H-1B or permanent residence petition on your behalf. Conrad 30 waivers through Pennsylvania are an option for healthcare workers at qualifying facilities.

Find Radiology Technologist at WellSpan Health JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does WellSpan Health sponsor H-1B visas for Radiology Technologists?
Yes, WellSpan Health sponsors H-1B visas for Radiology Technologist roles. Because the H-1B requires the position to qualify as a specialty occupation, your role must involve a specific degree requirement in a relevant field such as radiologic technology or medical imaging. USCIS adjudicates these petitions, and WellSpan typically works with immigration counsel to manage the filing on your behalf.
How do I apply for Radiology Technologist jobs at WellSpan Health?
Applications go through WellSpan Health's careers portal, where openings are listed by location and modality. For international candidates, Migrate Mate is the recommended starting point because it surfaces WellSpan Radiology Technologist roles that include active visa sponsorship, saving you time screening listings that won't support your work authorization needs.
Which visa types does WellSpan Health commonly use for Radiology Technologist roles?
WellSpan sponsors H-1B, TN, F-1 OPT, F-1 CPT, J-1, and employment-based Green Cards including EB-2 and EB-3 for Radiology Technologist positions. TN visas are available to Canadian and Mexican nationals where the role meets USMCA criteria. EB-3 is a common permanent residence pathway for allied health professionals like Radiology Technologists given the occupational classification.
What qualifications does WellSpan Health expect from Radiology Technologist candidates?
WellSpan expects ARRT certification and Pennsylvania state licensure for Radiology Technologist roles. Candidates trained outside the U.S. must demonstrate that their foreign education meets ARRT eligibility standards, which involves a credentials review. Specific modality certifications in CT, MRI, or interventional radiology can strengthen your application for specialty imaging openings.
How do I plan my timeline when pursuing sponsorship at WellSpan Health?
Timeline depends heavily on visa type. H-1B cap filings open in March for an October 1 start, so a late-year offer may mean a long wait unless you qualify for cap-exempt status or premium processing. TN and OPT transfers can move faster. PERM-based Green Card filings through DOL typically add 12 to 24 months beyond the initial work visa stage.
