Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding Radiologic Tech Jobs at WellSpan Health Jobs
Get your ARRT credentials verified early
WellSpan Health requires ARRT certification for Radiologic Tech roles. If you trained outside the U.S., confirm your eligibility pathway with ARRT before applying so credential gaps don't stall a sponsorship conversation mid-offer.
Target WellSpan's high-volume imaging departments
WellSpan posts Radiologic Tech openings across multiple Pennsylvania campuses, with consistent demand in CT and diagnostic imaging. Applying to facilities with rotating or night-shift coverage often surfaces openings where sponsorship is more readily discussed.
Use Migrate Mate to filter WellSpan openings by visa type
Searching WellSpan's full job board makes it hard to surface roles open to sponsored candidates. Migrate Mate lets you filter Radiologic Tech positions specifically at WellSpan Health by the visa types they sponsor, saving you hours of manual screening.
Understand OPT and CPT timing for clinical imaging roles
F-1 students doing clinical rotations at WellSpan under CPT must confirm the placement qualifies under your program's authorized training. OPT extensions for STEM-adjacent health science programs are limited, so map your authorization window against WellSpan's typical hiring timeline.
Prepare your J-1 waiver documentation before accepting an offer
J-1 physicians and health professionals joining WellSpan through a Conrad 30 or federal agency waiver need a confirmed waiver approval before starting. WellSpan's HR team typically requires this documentation in hand before finalizing a sponsored employment contract.

Find Radiologic Tech at WellSpan Health JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does WellSpan Health sponsor H-1B visas for Radiologic Techs?
Yes, WellSpan Health sponsors H-1B visas for Radiologic Tech roles. The H-1B applies when your position qualifies as a specialty occupation requiring at least a bachelor's degree in a relevant field. WellSpan's HR and legal teams manage the petition process through USCIS, but timing depends on the annual H-1B cap and lottery, which runs each spring for an October 1 start date.
How do I apply for Radiologic Tech jobs at WellSpan Health?
You can apply directly through WellSpan Health's careers portal or browse their open Radiologic Tech positions on Migrate Mate, which filters roles by visa sponsorship type so you can confirm eligibility before applying. Either way, submitting a complete application with your ARRT certification details and current work authorization status upfront reduces back-and-forth with recruiters during the screening process.
Which visa types does WellSpan Health commonly use for Radiologic Tech roles?
WellSpan Health sponsors H-1B, TN, F-1 OPT, F-1 CPT, J-1, and employment-based Green Cards including EB-2 and EB-3 for Radiologic Tech positions. TN is an efficient path for Canadian and Mexican nationals with a qualifying radiologic technology credential. EB-3 is the most common Green Card route for healthcare support roles, though it requires PERM labor certification filed through the DOL before USCIS can adjudicate the immigrant petition.
What qualifications does WellSpan Health expect for sponsored Radiologic Tech positions?
WellSpan Health typically requires ARRT certification in Radiography and an associate's or bachelor's degree in radiologic technology. State licensure in Pennsylvania is also required before your start date. For specialty modalities like CT or MRI, ARRT advanced certification in the relevant modality strengthens your application and can affect which immigration pathway applies to your role classification.
How long does the visa sponsorship process take for a Radiologic Tech at WellSpan Health?
Timeline depends heavily on the visa type. TN and H-1B cap-exempt filings can be processed in weeks, while a cap-subject H-1B requires waiting for the April lottery with an October start. EB-3 Green Card sponsorship through PERM involves DOL labor market testing, typically adding 12 to 24 months before USCIS receives the immigrant petition. Start the conversation with WellSpan's recruiter immediately after receiving an offer to avoid authorization gaps.
