Get ARRT Certified Before Applying
Trinity Health requires ARRT certification for Radiologic Tech roles, and most hiring managers screen for it before reviewing visa status. Completing this credential before you apply removes a common early rejection point and signals clinical readiness.
Target Locations with Persistent Open Roles
Trinity Health operates dozens of hospital campuses. Focus on markets where Radiologic Tech postings stay open for weeks or recur frequently, which signals genuine hiring pressure and a stronger likelihood the facility will move forward on sponsorship paperwork.
Ask HR Directly About Visa Type Flexibility
Trinity Health has sponsored multiple visa categories for clinical roles, including H-1B and TN. When you reach the offer stage, ask whether their immigration legal team can assess your specific visa category rather than assuming only one pathway is available.
Use Migrate Mate to Find Sponsoring Openings Fast
Radiologic Tech roles that list visa sponsorship are scattered across Trinity Health's many facilities. Use Migrate Mate to filter specifically for Trinity Health positions with sponsorship confirmed, so you're not manually checking dozens of hospital career pages.
Understand the H-1B Cap Timeline Before Accepting an Offer
If you need an H-1B and are cap-subject, your start date must align with the October 1 fiscal year window. Discuss this timeline with Trinity Health's HR before countersigning an offer to avoid gaps between your current status and your start date.
Confirm State Licensure Requirements Early in the Process
Each state where Trinity Health operates has its own Radiologic Tech licensure rules. USCIS and DOL both require that your offered role meets state practice standards, so confirming your license portability before filing avoids delays in the H-1B or PERM process.

Find Radiologic Tech at Trinity Health JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Trinity Health sponsor H-1B visas for Radiologic Techs?
Yes, Trinity Health sponsors H-1B visas for Radiologic Tech roles. As a large nonprofit health system, Trinity Health has established immigration support infrastructure and works with legal counsel to file H-1B petitions for clinical staff. Cap-subject applicants need to factor in the April lottery registration window and an October 1 start date when planning their offer timeline.
How do I apply for Radiologic Tech jobs at Trinity Health?
Apply directly through Trinity Health's careers portal, which lists openings by facility and modality. You can also browse and filter Trinity Health's Radiologic Tech roles with visa sponsorship confirmed on Migrate Mate, which saves time compared to checking each hospital campus separately. Have your ARRT certification, state license, and resume ready before you start any application.
Which visa types does Trinity Health commonly use for Radiologic Tech roles?
Trinity Health has sponsored H-1B, TN, J-1, F-1 OPT, and F-1 CPT visas for clinical roles including Radiologic Tech positions. Canadian and Mexican nationals with a degree in radiologic technology may be eligible for the TN visa, which avoids the H-1B lottery entirely. Green Card sponsorship through EB-2 or EB-3 is also possible for longer-term employees after a PERM labor certification.
What qualifications does Trinity Health expect for Radiologic Tech roles?
Trinity Health consistently requires ARRT certification and an active state license for the facility's location. Most postings also list clinical experience in diagnostic imaging, with some specialty roles requiring additional ARRT credentials in CT, MRI, or mammography. International applicants should have their foreign credentials evaluated to confirm equivalency with U.S. associate or bachelor's degree standards before applying.
How do I think about the visa sponsorship timeline for a Trinity Health Radiologic Tech offer?
Timeline depends heavily on your current visa status. F-1 OPT holders can start quickly if OPT is active, but need H-1B sponsorship secured before OPT expires. TN visa processing at a port of entry can take as little as a single day for eligible applicants. H-1B petitions require USCIS processing that can run three to six months without premium processing, so aligning your offer acceptance with the April cap-subject filing window matters significantly.
