Verify your ARRT credentials transfer correctly
HonorHealth requires state licensure and ARRT certification before you can work. If your credentials come from outside the U.S., confirm equivalency through your state's radiologic technology licensing board before applying, since credentialing delays can stall your start date.
Target HonorHealth's outpatient imaging openings first
Outpatient imaging centers often have more scheduling flexibility than inpatient hospital roles, which can make the onboarding and visa paperwork timeline more manageable. Look specifically for imaging center postings rather than limiting your search to acute care facilities.
Use Migrate Mate to filter HonorHealth Radiologic Tech roles by visa type
HonorHealth posts across multiple job boards, but not all listings indicate sponsorship availability. Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsoring employers so you can confirm which specific openings at HonorHealth are open to sponsored candidates before you apply.
Align your application timing with the H-1B cap cycle
If you need H-1B sponsorship, HonorHealth would need to file your petition during the annual registration window in March for an October 1 start. Factor this timeline into your job search so you aren't starting negotiations too late to meet USCIS deadlines.
Ask HR explicitly about PERM and EB-3 sponsorship willingness
Healthcare employers like HonorHealth frequently sponsor Radiologic Techs through the EB-3 employment-based Green Card route via PERM labor certification. Confirm during the offer stage whether HonorHealth will initiate PERM filing, as policies can differ by facility and role type.
Prepare modality-specific experience documentation before interviews
HonorHealth imaging roles often specify CT, MRI, or fluoroscopy competencies. Compile documented proof of your hours and clinical competencies in the relevant modalities before interviews, since specialty experience directly strengthens both your hire prospects and your employer's H-1B petition.

Does HonorHealth sponsor H-1B visas for Radiologic Techs?
Yes, HonorHealth has sponsored H-1B visas for Radiologic Tech roles. The H-1B is the most common employer-sponsored work visa for healthcare imaging positions because Radiologic Technology qualifies as a specialty occupation requiring a relevant degree. HonorHealth would need to file your petition with USCIS during the annual cap registration period, typically in March, for an October 1 start date.
How do I apply for Radiologic Tech jobs at HonorHealth?
You can browse and apply for Radiologic Tech openings at HonorHealth directly through their careers portal or through Migrate Mate, which filters listings by visa sponsorship availability so you can confirm which roles are open to international candidates. Having your ARRT certification and Arizona state license ready before applying will strengthen your application and accelerate the hiring process.
Which visa types does HonorHealth commonly use for Radiologic Tech roles?
HonorHealth sponsors Radiologic Tech roles through several pathways including H-1B for specialty occupation workers, TN visas for Canadian and Mexican nationals whose role qualifies under USMCA, and F-1 OPT or CPT for students completing clinical programs. For longer-term sponsorship, HonorHealth has also supported EB-2 and EB-3 employment-based Green Card petitions through the PERM labor certification process.
What qualifications does HonorHealth expect for Radiologic Tech positions?
HonorHealth typically requires ARRT certification and an active Arizona radiologic technology license. Most postings also specify competency in at least one modality such as CT, MRI, or general radiography. International candidates should ensure their degree meets the educational requirements recognized by the ARRT and that any foreign credentials have been evaluated for U.S. equivalency before applying.
How long does the visa sponsorship process take for a Radiologic Tech hired at HonorHealth?
The timeline depends on visa type. H-1B sponsorship tied to the annual cap means your earliest possible start date is October 1, and USCIS processing after selection runs roughly three to six months with standard processing. TN visas for qualifying Canadian and Mexican nationals can be obtained at the border or port of entry and are significantly faster. PERM-based Green Card sponsorship typically takes one to three years or more depending on your country of birth and priority date.
