Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding Therapist Jobs at HonorHealth Jobs
Verify Your Licensure Before Applying
Arizona requires active state licensure for most Therapist roles. Confirm your credential transfers or get a temporary license before HonorHealth's HR team reviews your file. An unlicensed application stalls the sponsorship conversation entirely.
Target HonorHealth's Behavioral Health Openings
HonorHealth's behavioral health and rehabilitation departments post Therapist roles most frequently. Filtering your search to those units puts you in front of hiring managers who have direct experience processing sponsorship paperwork for clinical positions.
Ask HR Directly About Their Sponsorship Process
During the offer stage, ask specifically whether HonorHealth files the Labor Condition Application internally or through outside counsel. Knowing who manages the DOL filing helps you set a realistic start-date timeline and avoid surprises.
Use Migrate Mate to Find Verified Therapist Openings
Search HonorHealth's sponsored Therapist roles on Migrate Mate, which surfaces positions by visa type so you're not guessing which listings are sponsorship-eligible before investing time in a full application.
Prepare Credential Evaluation Documents Early
If your degree was earned outside the U.S., get a course-by-course foreign credential evaluation from a NACES-approved evaluator. Healthcare employers like HonorHealth require this before extending a sponsored offer for licensed clinical roles.
Understand TN Status If You Hold Canadian or Mexican Citizenship
Psychologists and some therapy specialties qualify under the TN visa category, which has no lottery and can be obtained at the border. Confirm your specific job title maps to an approved TN profession before negotiating your start date with HonorHealth.

Find Therapist at HonorHealth JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does HonorHealth sponsor H-1B visas for Therapists?
Yes, HonorHealth sponsors H-1B visas for Therapist roles, particularly in behavioral health and rehabilitation settings where specialty occupation requirements are clearly met. Because H-1B cap-subject petitions are tied to the annual lottery, timing your offer and application well before the April registration window is critical for a smooth start date.
How do I apply for Therapist jobs at HonorHealth?
Applications go through HonorHealth's careers portal, where you can filter by department and location across their Arizona facilities. You can also browse HonorHealth's sponsored Therapist openings directly on Migrate Mate, which flags roles by visa type so you can focus on positions where sponsorship is already part of the hiring plan.
Which visa types does HonorHealth commonly use for Therapist roles?
HonorHealth has sponsored Therapists on H-1B, TN, and F-1 OPT visas, as well as employment-based Green Card pathways including EB-2 and EB-3. TN is the most streamlined option for Canadian and Mexican nationals with qualifying therapy credentials. F-1 OPT or CPT can bridge recent graduates while a long-term sponsorship petition is in process.
What qualifications does HonorHealth expect for sponsored Therapist positions?
Most sponsored Therapist openings at HonorHealth require an active Arizona state license, a relevant master's or doctoral degree, and experience in a clinical setting. Behavioral health roles often ask for familiarity with specific modalities such as CBT or DBT. Foreign-educated candidates should have a NACES-approved credential evaluation ready before the offer stage.
How long does the sponsorship process typically take for a Therapist at HonorHealth?
Timeline depends on visa type. TN status can be obtained in days for eligible candidates. An H-1B cap-subject petition takes several months from registration through USCIS adjudication, and employment-based Green Card cases filed under PERM can take one to several years depending on your priority date. Aligning your offer acceptance with these timelines is essential.
