What You’ll Champion:
- Hiring two full-time Advanced Practice Providers (Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants) to join a growing hospitalist group
- Monday–Friday schedules available: 7:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m. or 3:00 p.m.–11:00 p.m. (no overnight shifts)
- Provide inpatient care for patients under the direction of Physiatry at WellSpan Surgery and Rehabilitation Hospital
- Support patients receiving consultative Physiatry services at WellSpan York Hospital
- Perform admission and discharge medication reconciliation to ensure continuity and safety of care
- Coordinate comprehensive medical management in collaboration with the attending physiatrist, including ordering appropriate diagnostic testing and consultations
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate therapeutic modalities and optimize patient outcomes during inpatient rehabilitation
- Complete rehabilitation consultations for patients admitted to WellSpan York Hospital
- Provide recommendations regarding appropriate level of care, discharge planning, and physiatry-related treatment needs
