Align your credentials to enterprise SaaS experience
Zscaler's Customer Success roles center on zero-trust security adoption at large enterprises. Before applying, document measurable outcomes from SaaS onboarding, QBRs, or renewal cycles. USCIS requires specialty occupation evidence, and project-specific achievements strengthen that case.
Confirm OPT STEM extension eligibility early
Cybersecurity and cloud networking roles at Zscaler often qualify for STEM OPT extensions, giving F-1 holders up to three years of work authorization. Verify your degree field aligns with the STEM designation list before your initial 12-month OPT period expires.
Ask about cap-exempt filing during interviews
If you missed the H-1B lottery, Zscaler may be able to file a cap-exempt petition through a qualifying nonprofit or research institution partner. Raise this during the offer stage rather than after, so the recruiter can loop in immigration counsel before your grace period narrows.
Use Migrate Mate to find current Customer Success openings
Zscaler posts Customer Success roles across multiple locations and seniority levels. Use Migrate Mate to filter specifically for Zscaler openings that list visa sponsorship, so you're applying to positions already flagged as sponsorship-eligible rather than guessing from a generic job board.
Request LCA details before signing your offer
Your employer must file a Labor Condition Application with the DOL before submitting your H-1B or E-3 petition. Ask your Zscaler recruiter which office location will appear on the LCA, because remote-work arrangements can complicate prevailing wage compliance if your worksite changes after filing.

Does Zscaler sponsor H-1B visas for Customer Success?
Yes, Zscaler sponsors H-1B visas for Customer Success roles. The company works with immigration counsel to file petitions for qualifying positions, including Customer Success Managers and Technical Account Managers. Because H-1B is subject to the annual lottery cap, timing matters. If you're already in H-1B status with another employer, a transfer petition avoids the lottery entirely.
Which visa types does Zscaler sponsor for Customer Success roles?
Zscaler sponsors a range of visa categories for Customer Success hires, including H-1B, E-3 for Australian citizens, TN for Canadian and Mexican nationals, F-1 OPT and CPT for students, J-1 for eligible exchange visitors, and employment-based Green Cards through EB-2 and EB-3 pathways. The right category depends on your nationality, degree, and current immigration status.
What qualifications does Zscaler expect for Customer Success roles?
Most Customer Success positions at Zscaler require a bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as information technology, computer science, business, or engineering. Enterprise SaaS experience, strong account management skills, and familiarity with cloud security or networking concepts are commonly expected. TAM roles lean heavier on technical depth, while CSM roles weight relationship management and renewal metrics.
How do I apply for Customer Success jobs at Zscaler?
You can browse and apply for Customer Success openings at Zscaler directly through Migrate Mate, which filters roles by visa sponsorship eligibility so you can confirm the position qualifies before investing time in the application. Once you identify a role, apply through Zscaler's careers portal and be upfront about your visa status and timeline during the initial recruiter screen.
How do I manage timing between the H-1B lottery and a Zscaler offer?
The H-1B lottery runs once a year, with registration typically opening in March and cap-subject petitions taking effect October 1. If Zscaler extends you an offer after the lottery closes, you won't be eligible for cap-subject H-1B until the following fiscal year. In the interim, explore whether your current status, such as OPT or TN, can bridge the gap while USCIS processes a transfer or new petition.
