Align your credentials to Zscaler's security stack
Zscaler's platform is built on zero trust network access and cloud-native security. Certifications like CISSP, CCSP, or hands-on experience with SSE or SASE architectures will signal directly relevant expertise to their hiring team.
Target roles that map to your visa category
Cybersecurity titles at Zscaler range from Security Engineer to Threat Intelligence Analyst. Matching your target role to your visa type matters, since USCIS evaluates specialty occupation status based on the specific duties listed in the job posting.
Browse open Cybersecurity roles on Migrate Mate
Zscaler's sponsorship history covers multiple visa types for Cybersecurity functions. Use Migrate Mate to filter current openings by visa type and confirm which roles are actively hiring before you apply.
Prepare documentation that supports specialty occupation
For H-1B or E-3 sponsorship, USCIS expects your degree to align with the specific Cybersecurity role. Gather transcripts, any credential evaluations for non-U.S. degrees, and documentation of specialized coursework or prior security clearances before an offer comes through.
Raise visa sponsorship after demonstrating technical fit
Zscaler's Cybersecurity interviews are technical-first, covering areas like zero trust architecture, threat modeling, and detection engineering. Confirm sponsorship availability with the recruiter early in the process, but let your technical depth carry the conversation before the topic comes up organically.

Find Cybersecurity at Zscaler JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Zscaler sponsor H-1B visas for Cybersecurity roles?
Yes, Zscaler sponsors H-1B visas for Cybersecurity positions. The company has a consistent sponsorship history across its security engineering and operations functions. If you're cap-subject, the H-1B lottery registration window runs in March each year, with an October 1 start date for approved petitions. Confirming sponsorship intent with your recruiter before the offer stage is the right move.
How do I apply for Cybersecurity jobs at Zscaler?
Applications go through Zscaler's careers portal at zscaler.com/careers. For visa-sponsored roles specifically, Migrate Mate lists open Cybersecurity positions at Zscaler filtered by sponsorship type, which saves time identifying which roles are actively hiring and which visa categories apply. Tailor your resume to the zero trust and cloud security skills their job postings emphasize.
Which visa types does Zscaler commonly sponsor for Cybersecurity positions?
Zscaler sponsors multiple visa categories for Cybersecurity roles, including H-1B, E-3 for Australian citizens, TN for Canadian and Mexican nationals, F-1 OPT and CPT for students, and Green Card pathways including EB-2 and EB-3. The visa type that applies depends on your nationality, degree level, and whether you're transitioning from student status or coming from outside the U.S.
What qualifications does Zscaler expect for Cybersecurity roles?
Zscaler's Cybersecurity openings typically require a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a closely related field, which also satisfies the specialty occupation requirement for H-1B and E-3 sponsorship. Beyond the degree, hands-on experience with cloud security platforms, threat detection, or network security architecture is expected. Industry certifications like CISSP, CEH, or CCSP strengthen your profile considerably.
How long does the visa sponsorship process take at a company like Zscaler?
Timeline depends heavily on visa type. H-1B sponsorship tied to the annual lottery means an October 1 start date at the earliest, with the registration window in March. E-3 and TN sponsorships move faster since they're not cap-subject and can be initiated closer to your start date. USCIS premium processing, where available, reduces adjudication to 15 business days for I-129 petitions.
