Who's Hiring

Compliance Specialist Jobs in Atlanta: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a compliance specialist job in Atlanta?
Target Atlanta's densest hiring sectors: banking and financial services in Buckhead, healthcare compliance at major hospital systems along the Northside corridor, and corporate compliance at the Fortune 500 regional headquarters clustered around Midtown and Perimeter Center. Candidates who hold a CRCM, CHC, or CCEP credential stand out in these markets. Familiarity with FINRA, CMS, or OCC regulatory frameworks gives a concrete edge with Atlanta's largest employers.
Which companies hire compliance specialists in Atlanta?
Companies currently hiring compliance specialists in Atlanta include State of Georgia, WSP, and Sage, per current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. Atlanta's hiring mix is notably broad, drawing from regional bank headquarters, large integrated health systems, and the corporate compliance functions of major logistics and media companies based in the city.
Are there remote compliance specialist jobs in Atlanta?
Yes, though availability depends heavily on the role type. Desk-based work like policy review, regulatory reporting, and compliance monitoring lends itself to remote arrangements, while roles requiring on-site audits or direct oversight of operations typically do not. About 50% of compliance specialist openings tied to Atlanta are remote or hybrid as of September 2026, with the highest concentration of flexible arrangements found in financial and corporate compliance functions rather than healthcare or facilities-based roles.
How can I get a compliance specialist job in Atlanta with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path in Atlanta is through a compliance analyst or compliance coordinator role at one of the city's large health systems or regional banks, which run structured compliance training programs and regularly promote from within. Paralegal backgrounds, audit support roles, and positions in regulatory affairs at Atlanta-based logistics or insurance firms also serve as practical on-ramps. A relevant certification like the CRCM or a compliance certificate from a Georgia institution strengthens applications significantly at this level.
