We are seeking an experienced part-time to full-time Inspector to support our Colorado team!
Responsibilities
- Conduct visual inspections and quality assessments on construction sites, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and contractual requirements.
- Assistance with materials testing as needed in laboratory and field.
- Must be able to understand and comprehend construction documents such as plans, specifications, submittals, etc.
- Measure and calculate project quantities.
- Document test results accurately, prepare detailed reports, and communicate findings clearly to the project team and/or contractors in a timely manner.
- Discuss field findings/results with the project team in an efficient and professional manner
- Continue training, obtaining certifications, and recertifying as necessary.
- Strong compliance and adherence to safety.
- Ability to work outdoors on construction sites and with materials testing lab environments
- Ability to evaluate construction documents and specifications
- Ability to coordinate and effectively communicate within a team setting
- Ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs
Minimum Qualifications/Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license
- Minimum of 2 years of materials testing/inspection experience
- Certified in radiation safety and nuclear density gauge operation
- WAQTC Certification (or equivalent i.e. ICC Soils Inspector)
- ACI Concrete Field-Testing Grade 1
- ICC Special Inspector (Reinforced Concrete)
- OSHA (10 or 40 hour)
- CAPA (Levels A & I)
Preferred Qualifications/Certifications
- ACI Strength
- CDOT TECS and SWMP
- CDOT Basics (Highway Math, Highway Plan Reading, Construction Surveying)
- Other ICC Special Inspector Certifications
- CWI
