About the Role

We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Construction Project Manager to independently lead and oversee construction projects from initial handoff through final completion.

This role requires a strong construction professional who can take full ownership of project execution, lead field operations, manage subcontractors, oversee financial performance, and maintain strong client relationships.

The ideal candidate is decisive, proactive, and highly accountable, with the ability to manage projects independently while maintaining exceptional standards of quality, schedule, budget, and client experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Leadership: Take full ownership of assigned projects, overseeing execution from pre-construction through completion.
• Construction Management: Lead field operations, direct subcontractors and trades, and ensure work meets approved plans, specifications, and quality standards.
• Schedule Management: Establish and maintain construction schedules, manage timelines, and keep projects progressing efficiently.
• Financial Management: Oversee project budgets, monitor job costs, control expenses, manage change orders, and protect project profitability.
• Client Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact throughout construction, lead project meetings, communicate progress, and manage client expectations.
• Quality & Closeout: Maintain high standards of workmanship, oversee inspections and final corrections, and lead project closeout.
• Project Oversight: Maintain accurate project schedules, progress updates, and documentation using construction project management software.

Qualifications & Experience

• 5–10 years of construction project management experience, preferably in general contracting or residential remodeling.
• Proven ability to independently manage construction projects from start to finish.
• Strong hands-on experience in residential remodeling, renovations, additions, and general construction.
• Demonstrated ability to lead subcontractors, manage field operations, and oversee multiple trades.
• Strong understanding of construction plans, scopes of work, scheduling, and building practices.
• Experience managing project budgets, job costs, change orders, and profitability.
• Excellent leadership, decision-making, problem-solving, and client communication skills.
• Experience with construction project management software. JobTread experience is a plus, but candidates must be willing to undergo training and learn the platform.
• Commercial construction and tenant improvement experience is a plus.
• Spanish-speaking is a plus.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $92,000.00 per year
