MakeReady Masters is seeking an interior designer for a consulting relationship supporting apartment turns, interior upgrades, and renovation projects across South Carolina.
We deliver completed, rent-ready apartments for multifamily owners and property managers. We’re looking for a designer who can help us coordinate flooring, cabinet finishes, and countertops into attractive, cohesive interiors tailored to each property.
This is a paid advisory role, with consultations assigned on a property-by-property basis. The designer provides finish-selection guidance, and MakeReady Masters manages sourcing, installation, and project delivery.
The work will include:
- Reviewing property photos, existing finishes, project goals, and available budgets.
- Recommending flooring colors and styles, including luxury vinyl plank.
- Selecting cabinet refinishing colors and finishes that complement the space.
- Coordinating countertop resurfacing colors and patterns with cabinetry and flooring.
- Considering surrounding paint colors, lighting, and existing features when developing recommendations.
- Providing a concise finish palette or selection sheet with clear product and color references.
- Recommending practical alternatives based on durability, availability, and cost.
We’re looking for someone with:
- Experience in interior design, residential finish selection, or renovation consulting.
- A portfolio demonstrating thoughtful coordination of flooring, cabinetry, and countertops.
- The ability to create appealing interiors within defined rental-property budgets.
- Clear communication and practical recommendations our field team can execute.
- An understanding of durable, maintainable finishes suited to rental housing.
Multifamily experience and familiarity with cabinet refinishing or countertop resurfacing are helpful.
Our goal is to deliver apartments where thoughtful design and quality execution come together in a visually appealing, truly rent-ready finished product.
