Entry Level Continuous Improvement Manager Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get an entry level continuous improvement manager job?
Employers hiring at the entry level look for familiarity with process improvement methodologies like Lean or Six Sigma, even from coursework or a student project. A Yellow Belt certification, an internship in operations, or documented experience mapping workflows or reducing waste in any setting gives candidates a clear edge over applicants with no hands-on exposure to continuous improvement work.
Which companies hire entry level continuous improvement managers?
Companies hiring entry level continuous improvement managers right now include Jobot, Stord, and Perdue, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Manufacturers, logistics providers, and healthcare systems are among the most active at this level, as they rely on junior staff to support process audits and improvement initiatives across their operations.
Are there remote entry level continuous improvement manager jobs?
Yes, though most entry level roles in this field are on-site or hybrid because the work involves direct observation of processes and equipment. About 0% of entry level continuous improvement manager openings are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, so candidates open to on-site work will find a significantly larger pool of available positions.
Are these new grad continuous improvement manager jobs?
Yes, many listings on this page are new grad and junior roles that welcome recent graduates with little or no professional experience. A new grad posting typically signals this by accepting zero to two years of experience, listing internships as qualifying background, or noting that a portfolio of academic or project-based process improvement work will be considered in place of full-time history.
Which industries hire the most entry level continuous improvement managers?
Entry Level continuous improvement manager roles concentrate in Food & Beverage, Chemicals & Materials, and Consulting & Professional Services, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. These sectors drive entry level hiring because they run high-volume operations where even incremental efficiency gains have measurable impact, making junior continuous improvement staff a cost-effective investment for organizations building out their process teams.
