Job Title: Senior Director, Laboratory Operations Management
Location: Atlanta, GA
Salary: $183,700 – $270,100/year
Relocation: Available

JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a Senior Director, Laboratory Operations Management to lead clinical laboratory operations across multiple teams and departments. This role will oversee laboratory leaders, quality, compliance, accreditation, staffing, and operational performance within a large healthcare environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Lead laboratory managers and multiple clinical laboratory teams
- Oversee daily laboratory operations, staffing, budgets, and performance
- Manage CAP/CLIA accreditation and regulatory compliance
- Oversee proficiency testing, quality assurance, and process improvement
- Maintain clinical laboratory testing competency and training standards
- Evaluate laboratory testing methodologies, processes, and technology
- Partner with labor management, healthcare teams, and public health agencies
- Lead regional and national laboratory initiatives and strategic projects

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

- 8+ years of healthcare/laboratory leadership experience
- Experience leading managers or other leaders
- Clinical laboratory operations and bench work experience
- Strong CAP/CLIA accreditation experience
- Proficiency testing oversight experience
- Experience managing credentialed medical laboratory staff
- Experience with laboratory test methodology evaluation
- Large healthcare/enterprise experience
- Master's degree in Laboratory Science, Healthcare, Operations, Leadership, or related field

PREFERRED

Experience with a large healthcare system such as Emory Healthcare.
