This internship offers the unique opportunity to learn about various aspects of preparing for a new school year, with a focus on one key functional area. You will get the chance to work with and shadow colleagues who have experience in various careers including teaching, school administration and leadership, operations, consulting, finance, etc.
Responsibilities
As a Summer Intern, you will work side-by-side with our Family Outreach & Enrollment team to organize and prepare Zeta for the 2026-27 school year. Lay the foundation for an exceptional school year where every student is set up to thrive by:
- Supporting enrollment efforts, guiding families through the registration process and helping create a welcoming and seamless start to their Zeta experience
- Proctoring virtual assessments for incoming 2nd–8th grade students, helping us better understand and support each learner’s unique needs
- Streamlining and documenting key operational processes, and updating resources on Zeta’s central hub for internal information and tools

- Strong problem-solving mentality and attention to detail
- Desire to work tirelessly and collaboratively in order to ensure our schools are 100% ready for staff and students heading into the 2026-27 school year
Logistics and Compensation
- This will be a remote internship. The internship duration is 8 weeks long, from June 22nd, 2026 through August 14th, 2026. Interns can expect to work 6-8 hours a day, with exact hours determined closer to the start of the internship and in close coordination with your Manager.
- We are accepting applications from college students for this position, with a preference for current Sophomores or above.
- Compensation for this position is $17.00 an hour.

Does Family Practice NP work qualify as CPT?
Yes, provided your school recognizes supervised clinical practice as an integral part of your degree curriculum. Can I do CPT part-time while completing NP coursework?
Part-time CPT is available for fewer than 20 hours per week and doesn't affect your OPT eligibility the way full-time CPT does. Many NP programs structure final-year rotations as part-time CPT so students can carry coursework simultaneously. Your I-20 must reflect the part-time authorization, and your DSO updates it each authorized period, not once for the entire rotation sequence.
What documents does a Family Practice clinic need from me for CPT?
The clinic typically needs your current I-20 showing the CPT authorization, your F-1 visa stamp, your passport, and your I-94 admission record. Many practices also require an academic affiliation agreement signed by your school. Some FQHCs and hospital-affiliated clinics have credentialing offices that run their own background checks, which can add two to four weeks to your onboarding timeline.
How do I find Family Practice NP employers who understand CPT?

Does full-time CPT affect my OPT eligibility after graduation?
Twelve or more months of full-time CPT eliminates your post-completion OPT eligibility entirely. Part-time CPT, regardless of total duration, doesn't affect OPT. If your NP program requires a year-long full-time clinical practicum authorized as CPT, plan your post-graduation work authorization strategy before you start, since OPT won't be available and you'll need an employer to file H-1B visa or another status immediately.
