ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
What We're Looking For:
- Actively pursuing an Associate, Bachelor, or Master's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Building Science, or related degree
- Interest in building forensics, mechanical systems, and structures
- Position requires carrying 40 – 70 lbs multiple times a day or occasionally lifting 85 lbs to waist height
- Must be able to provide suitable transportation for use on job sites - mileage will be reimbursed

Does a Product Consultant role qualify for CPT authorization?
It depends on your degree program. CPT requires the work to be an integral part of your curriculum, so a Product Consultant role at a consulting or SaaS firm typically qualifies for students in business, information systems, MBA, or management programs. Your DSO makes the final determination based on how your specific duties map to your enrolled coursework, not the job title alone.
Can I do CPT as a Product Consultant while still taking classes?
Yes, part-time CPT (under 20 hours per week) is available while you're enrolled full-time. Full-time CPT (20 or more hours) is generally limited to specific program requirements like required internship semesters. Either way, you need separate CPT authorization for each employer and each authorization period, you can't reuse a prior approval for a new role or company.
