CPT Sales Analyst Jobs
Sales Analyst roles qualify for CPT when your program includes coursework in data analysis, market research, sales strategy, or business intelligence. Your DSO must authorize CPT before your start date, and the position must connect directly to your degree program. Part-time CPT (under 20 hours per week) keeps your full-time OPT eligibility intact after graduation.

As a Deal Desk Analyst, you will act as a strategic bridge between Sales, Customer Success, Finance, and Legal, ensuring your deals are scalable, reliable, and accurately provisioned without creating downstream billing issues.
You will sit within the GTM Strategy & Operations department, specifically focusing on the Quote-to-Cash (Q2C) lifecycle. Your team is dedicated to building the infrastructure and processes that allow Everlaw to scale rapidly while maintaining financial integrity and operational efficiency.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
This is a full-time non-exempt position based in our Oakland, California office with a hybrid work schedule: in office M/W/Th with the option to work from home Tu/Fr. The expected length of the engagement would be 6 months.
Getting started
- We want you to feel like part of the team early on! Our onboarding process will integrate you into the company with informative sessions on our product, policies, processes, and team structure and goals.
- We’re excited for you to learn, grow, and contribute right away! We trust that you’ll bring experience and knowledge that will uplift and uplevel the team, but we don’t expect you to know everything on Day 1.
In your role, you'll...
- Manage end-to-end quoting for new business, renewals, and complex amendments using Salesforce CPQ.
- Act as the primary owner for the Salesforce and ZenDesk queue, managing the intake, triage, and escalation of all Q2C requests.
- Reduce wait times and maintain high service standards by resolving tickets within defined SLAs.
- Partner cross-functionally with Finance and Legal to navigate non-standard terms and identify system inefficiencies.
- Assist in standardizing deal workflows and systemizing the escalation process within Salesforce to improve transparency.
- Ensure all deals adhere to established price books, discount thresholds, and Everlaw’s financial compliance standards.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- You have at least 5 years of experience in Deal Desk, Sales Operations, or Revenue Operations, including hands-on ownership of quoting for new business, renewals, and complex amendments.
- You have advanced proficiency in Salesforce CPQ or a similar quoting tool, and are comfortable configuring products and bundles, applying price rules, and troubleshooting complex quote logic.
- You are experienced in balancing short-term sales velocity with long-term revenue integrity, ensuring deals move quickly while still adhering to pricing, discount, and compliance guardrails.
- You are a clear communicator who can articulate complex commercial concepts to diverse internal stakeholders, tailoring your message for Sales, Customer Success, Finance, Legal, and technical partners.
- You have a background in SaaS or Legal Tech environments and enjoy working cross-functionally with GTM teams to support scalable, reliable deal structures.
- You are detail-oriented and able to manage high volumes of requests in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing effectively and maintaining high accuracy across your queue.
- You are authorized to work in the United States without restrictions. Please note that at this time, Everlaw is not sponsoring employment visas for this role.
BENEFITS
- The expected hourly rate range for this role is between $52.88 and $67.30. The final offered hourly rate will be dependent upon many factors including the candidate’s experience and skills. The role's compensation is subject to change in the future.
- You will be eligible for a number of our benefits, including health, dental, and vision plans.
- You will be eligible for paid company and federal holidays.
PERKS
- Work in Uptown Oakland, just steps from the BART line and dozens of restaurants and walking distance to Lake Merritt.

- Enjoy a wide variety of snacks and beverages in the Oakland office.
- Bond over company-wide out-of-the-box events and fun activities with your team.
- Time off for company-sponsored volunteer events and 4 paid hours per quarter to volunteer at a charitable organization of your choice.

Get Access To All JobsSales Analyst CPT: Frequently Asked Questions
Does a Sales Analyst role qualify for CPT authorization?
Yes, if your degree program includes coursework in areas like data analysis, market research, business intelligence, or sales strategy. The role must be an integral part of your curriculum, not just related to your major. Your DSO will review the position description against your enrolled courses and program requirements before issuing CPT authorization on your I-20.
Can I do CPT part-time as a Sales Analyst while taking classes?
You can work part-time CPT (under 20 hours per week) while enrolled full-time, and doing so preserves your 12 months of full-time OPT eligibility after graduation. Many Sales Analyst internships and co-ops are structured as part-time precisely because students need to stay enrolled. Confirm the weekly hour limit with your DSO before accepting the offer.
What documents do I need to show a Sales Analyst employer before starting?
You'll need your I-20 with the CPT authorization page showing the employer name, position, authorized dates, and whether it's part-time or full-time. Unlike OPT, CPT doesn't produce an EAD card. Some hiring managers aren't familiar with CPT, so bringing a brief explanation of how F-1 CPT authorization works helps prevent delays in onboarding or I-9 completion.
How do I find Sales Analyst employers who understand CPT authorization?
Migrate Mate surfaces employers with verified visa sponsorship filing history, which is a reliable signal that their HR teams are familiar with work authorization processes including CPT. Companies that have sponsored analysts before are less likely to stall your start date over paperwork questions. Filter by job title and review employer filing history before applying.
Does CPT as a Sales Analyst affect my future H-1B eligibility?
CPT itself doesn't affect H-1B eligibility. What matters is that CPT doesn't consume OPT time if it's part-time. If you use 12 or more months of full-time CPT, you lose full-time OPT eligibility, which can affect your post-graduation work authorization timeline before an employer files an H-1B petition. USCIS tracks OPT and CPT usage separately, so plan your CPT duration with that ceiling in mind.
