Job Description
The Internship will be dedicated to developing and implementing Global Processes within the Global Materials Organization including supplier collaboration, oracle planning cloud and global reporting system governing.
It will also include the following:
- Excellent digital project management skills supporting large scale Transformation Implementations.
- Help draft, update, and standardize global SOPs and training documentation for MSI Supply Chain.
- Identify operational bottlenecks, lead time variances, or process hand-off gaps from forecasting to receiving.
- Must be capable of translating objectives into a deliverable strategy to achieve business goals.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Participate in and lead continuous improvement projects.
- Strong orientation to leadership, teamwork, and positive communication; a flexible, dynamic, self-demanding and proactive individual, able to motivate him/herself and others.
Additional Qualified Skills:
- Basic AI Literacy: Familiarity with Generative AI platforms (ChatGPT, Copilot, Claude) and practical experience with prompt engineering techniques.
- Data Tools: Hands-on experience with Python (Pandas, Scikit-learn), SQL, or advanced AI capabilities in Excel/Power BI and Google Gemini.
- Systems Mindset: Strong curiosity regarding how AI, machine learning, and automation intersect with enterprise ERP environments and business process management.
- ERP/MRP (Oracle, SAP, etc) experience is preferred.
Basic Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Analytics, Operations, or a related field.
- Graduation date not later than Dec. 2029.

Does a Systems Analyst role qualify for CPT?
Yes, if your degree program includes information systems, computer science, MIS, or a related field and the role involves duties your curriculum covers, such as requirements analysis, system design, or process improvement. Your DSO makes the final determination. Bring a copy of the job description and a course-by-course alignment to your CPT authorization meeting to speed up approval.
Can I do CPT as a Systems Analyst at a consulting firm that places me at a client site?
CPT is tied to your employer of record, not the client site where you work. If a staffing or consulting firm is your actual employer and files your I-9, they are the CPT employer on your I-20. Your school may require a letter from both the staffing firm and the end client confirming the role's relevance to your curriculum before authorizing CPT.
What happens if my Systems Analyst CPT ends before my project wraps up?
You must stop working when your CPT authorization expires. You can request a CPT extension from your DSO before the end date, but you'll need documentation from your employer explaining the project timeline. Don't assume extensions are automatic. Starting the request at least two to three weeks before your current authorization ends gives your DSO enough processing time.
