About Ramp
Ramp is building the smart infrastructure for finance teams, embedded in the transaction flow of every dollar a business spends. We automate how over $100B in annualized spend flows in and out of 50,000+ companies: authorizing payments, flagging risk, categorizing spend, and closing books.
The problems are high-stakes, data-dense, and unforgiving.
We hire people with high agency and high urgency. We look for slope over intercept. We care less about where you trained and more about what you’ve built. At Ramp, everyone is a builder who owns problems end to end and makes consequential decisions that shape the outcome.
The median Ramp customer saves 5% and grows revenue 16% in their first year – far in excess of businesses operating without Ramp. We believe every ambitious company deserves the same.
If you want to build systems that directly shape how companies move and manage billions, Ramp is the place to do it.
About the Role
Stunts are how Ramp punches above its weight. We don't buy attention. We earn it.
Brian Baumgartner sat in a glass box for 8 hours buried in receipts. This earned us 214M views. Rachel Karten said about it, “It’s not every day that my feed fills with people talking about a smart marketing stunt from a B2B SaaS company.” Three months later we escalated this into a Brian Super Bowl campaign, racked up 278M views, and got named #4 on AdWeek’s AI Influence Index, with AdWeek crediting, the only B2B brand to make the list. Our Funeral for the Penny did 35M views on a teeny budget and got us into the Washington Post, Fox News, and Detroit News.
We have an even deeper backlog of bigger swings ready to go. What we’re missing: another producer with internet-native taste and the operational rigor to pull off epic stunts.
NB: This isn’t a traditional creative producer role. We’re not hiring someone who ships customer marketing videos and linkedin posts with 20 likes. We’re hiring someone who has personally caused viral moments, and is hungry to do it again with real budget behind them.
- Own stunts end-to-end. Concept, talent, permits, locations, vendors, capture, clips, distribution, measurement.
- Pressure-test ideas against virality, brand integration, and feasibility. Push back when a concept won't translate.
- Source talent, contractors, creators, and characters. Run outreach, negotiate, manage delivery.
- Scope, budget, and run stunts. Hire support staff as needed.
- Coordinate posting, collab tags, and amplification with the social team.
- Track views, reposts, downstream coverage, MQLs, SQLs, and pipeline impact per stunt. Feed learnings back into the next one.
- Stay obsessed with what's generating buzz online and IRL. Take regular calls with independent producers and creators and build on what's working.
What You Need
- A personal viral track record: you have built your own audience from real creative work, OR produced events, stunts, or experiences that have broken through online.
- Demonstrated taste: an instinct for what will perform on the algorithms before the data is in.
- End-to-end production ownership: talent, contracts, permits, COIs, vendors, schedules, releases.
- High judgment under ambiguity: knowing which detail to fight for and which to let go.
- Strong written and verbal communication, especially when briefing talent and aligning XFN partners.
- Comfort in a high-expectations, fast-moving environment with real budget responsibility.
Nice-to-Haves
- Existing relationships with internet-native talent, creators, or stunt collaborators.
- Experience producing IRL activations, brand stunts, or events that punctured culture.
- Personal experience as a creator or independent producer.

Creative Producer Jobs in New York: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a creative producer in New York?
Creative producer is not a licensed role in New York, so there is no state board exam or registration required. Most New York employers expect a bachelor's degree in film production, advertising, communications, or a related field, combined with hands-on production experience. Starting as a production assistant or coordinator at an agency, studio, or media company is the most direct path, with advancement tied to portfolio strength and demonstrated project ownership.
How much do creative producers make in New York?
Creative producers in New York earn a median of about $107,550 a year, based on May 2025 Bureau of Labor Statistics wage data, ranging from around $61,960 for the lowest 10% to over $222,580 for the top 10%. Pay rises with experience, specialty, and employer.
Which companies hire creative producers in New York?
Employers hiring creative producers in New York right now include Nexstar Media Group, Fox News Network, and NBCUniversal, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of June 2026. New York's concentration of advertising holding companies, streaming platforms, and branded content studios means creative producer demand is spread across agency groups, in-house brand teams, and independent production companies.
Which New York cities have the most creative producer jobs?
New York, New York City, and Syracuse have the most creative producer openings in New York. Manhattan dominates because of its density of advertising agencies, media networks, and brand headquarters, while Brooklyn has grown into a significant hub for independent production companies and digital content studios, and Long Island City attracts in-house creative teams from major consumer brands with offices in the outer boroughs.
Are there remote creative producer jobs in New York?
Yes, and more than many production roles, though on-set and agency-floor work still drives much of the market. About 27% of creative producer openings tied to New York are remote or hybrid as of June 2026, reflecting how much pre-production planning, budgeting, and vendor coordination can happen off-site. The production execution phase, including shoots and post-production supervision, typically requires an in-person presence.
How can I get hired as a creative producer in New York with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry point is a production assistant or junior producer role at a New York advertising agency or content studio, where you build project management skills on live campaigns. Large agency networks like WPP and Publicis, as well as media companies with New York headquarters, regularly hire for entry-level production coordinator roles that feed into the producer track. A strong portfolio of student or personal projects, along with familiarity with production management software, gives candidates a clear edge over those without demonstrated output.
