CT Tech Jobs in New Hampshire: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a ct tech in New Hampshire?
To work as a ct tech in New Hampshire, you must hold an active radiologic technologist license issued through the New Hampshire Department of Health and Human Services Radiologic Technology Licensure program. Most candidates earn an associate or bachelor's degree in radiologic technology from an accredited program, pass the ARRT Radiography exam, and then pursue the ARRT CT post-primary certification. New Hampshire requires licensure renewal and continuing education to stay current.
How much do CT teches make in New Hampshire?
CT teches in New Hampshire earn a median of about $84,910 a year, based on May 2025 Bureau of Labor Statistics wage data, ranging from around $64,620 for the lowest 10% to over $106,370 for the top 10%. Pay rises with experience, specialty, and employer.
Which companies hire ct techs in New Hampshire?
Companies currently hiring ct techs in New Hampshire include Catholic Medical Center, Frisbie Memorial Hospital, and Healthforce, per current listings on Migrate Mate as of August 2026. New Hampshire's largest health systems, including Dartmouth Health and Wentworth-Douglass Hospital, consistently post CT openings across their inpatient and outpatient imaging sites.
Which New Hampshire cities have the most ct tech jobs?
The cities with the most ct tech openings in New Hampshire are Manchester, Rochester, and Berlin. Manchester and Nashua drive the bulk of listings as the state's two largest population centers, each anchored by major hospital campuses and affiliated outpatient imaging centers, while Lebanon's volume reflects the regional draw of Dartmouth Health's academic medical system serving northern New England.
How can I get hired as a ct tech in New Hampshire with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is applying to new-graduate or limited-experience CT positions at larger New Hampshire health systems like Dartmouth Health or Catholic Medical Center, which periodically hire ARRT-certified candidates and provide on-the-job CT cross-training. Candidates currently working as radiologic technologists, ER rad techs, or imaging assistants have a strong lateral advantage. Holding or actively pursuing your ARRT CT post-primary certification signals readiness and moves applications ahead even without full CT floor hours.
