American Traveler is hiring a Night Shift CT Technologist with 2+ years of experience and ARRT CT certification for a 13-week travel assignment.
Details
- Works in the CT Scanner department providing diagnostic CT exams for inpatients and outpatients
- Performs CT of head/brain, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen/pelvis, extremities, and biopsy/drainage procedures
- Also performs basic radiographic procedures, fluoroscopy, portable radiographic procedures, C-arm procedures, and OR imaging services
- Uses Canon Prime SP80 and Toshiba Aquilion CT systems, Carestream and GE x-ray and portable units, and Philips and GE C-arms
- EMR system used is Medhost
- Night shift schedule from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM, working Sun, Mon, Tues and every other Sat
- Call required 4 days per month
- No floating required
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience required
- ARRT CT certification required
- CT and X-ray experience required
- Graduate of an accredited AMA school and registered with ARRT
- Licensed by the state as a general radiographer
- NM license required if applicable
- Active, unexpired certifications required with none expiring within first 30 days of start
Additional Information
- Provides timely, accurate diagnostic CT examinations under departmental protocols and physician direction
- Demonstrates proficiency in routine diagnostic CT scanning with and without contrast media and knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy
- Any scrub color accepted
- Does not accept local candidates within a 50-mile radius
- RTO requests must be less than 1 week
- Not eligible if previously worked as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
