Novant Health is seeking a PRN - Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist to join our REMARKABLE acute care team.

What We’re Looking For:
- ARRT (R) or (N) or CNMT certification required (must obtain ARRT (CT) within 6 months of hire)
- Prior acute care experience preferred
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
Your Impact:
- Perform high-quality CT diagnostic exams in an acute care setting
- Work closely with physicians to deliver critical patient care
- Maintain patient safety and comfort with professionalism and empathy
Education:
2 Year / Associate Degree, preferred. Graduate of ARRT-approved Radiography Program or Graduate of ARRT-approved or NMTCB-recognized Nuclear Medicine Program, required.
Experience:
One year experience in CT, preferred.
Licensure/Certification:
- NH Medical Center - Certified and registered: by ARRT in CT - RT(R) or RT(N) or CNMT at time of hire. Certified and registered: by ARRT in CT - RT(R)(CT) or RT(N)(CT) or CNMT, RT(CT) within 6 months of hire, required.
- NH Independent Diagnostic Testing Facility or Hospital Outpatient Department - Certified and registered: by ARRT in CT - RT(R)(CT) or RT(N)(CT) or CNMT, RT(CT), required.
- Refer to the Life Support Training Policy NH-HR-3096 for life support training requirement, required.
- Applicable state license, required.
Additional Skills:
Analytical ability, basic computer skills, good communication skills, ability to adapt to procedures based on age of patient, ability to interpret information to identify each patient’s requirements for care relative to his/her age specific needs. Prepares patient for procedures. Operates CT equipment.
What You'll Do:
The CT technologist assists physicians in the performance of diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures by preparing the patient and operating the CT equipment in order to obtain diagnostic scans.
