How do you become a customer marketing lead in Nebraska?
Most customer marketing lead roles in Nebraska require a bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or business, combined with several years of hands-on lifecycle or retention marketing experience. Nebraska does not require a state-issued license for this role. Employers in Omaha and Lincoln typically look for candidates who can demonstrate CRM fluency, campaign ownership, and measurable retention outcomes, often progressing from email marketing coordinator or marketing analyst positions within established Nebraska companies or regional agencies.
How much do customer marketing leads make in Nebraska?
Customer marketing leads in Nebraska earn a median of about $110,570 a year, based on May 2025 Bureau of Labor Statistics wage data, ranging from around $74,510 for the lowest 10% to over $194,650 for the top 10%. Pay rises with experience, specialty, and employer.
Which companies hire customer marketing leads in Nebraska?
Employers hiring customer marketing leads in Nebraska right now include FNBO - First National Bank of Omaha, University of Nebraska, and Carson, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Nebraska's concentration of insurance, agribusiness, and healthcare headquarters in Omaha and Lincoln means many of these roles sit within large, stable organizations that manage substantial customer bases and run ongoing retention programs.
Which Nebraska cities have the most customer marketing lead jobs?
Omaha, Lincoln, and Fremont have the most customer marketing lead openings in Nebraska. Omaha leads because it is home to major corporate headquarters in insurance, financial services, and food manufacturing, while Lincoln's mix of state government, healthcare, and university-adjacent businesses drives steady demand, and smaller markets like Grand Island reflect growing regional employer footprints.
Are there remote customer marketing lead jobs in Nebraska?
Yes, and more than many fields, since customer marketing lead work is primarily digital, analytical, and communication-focused. About 57% of customer marketing lead openings tied to Nebraska are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, reflecting the desk-based nature of the role. Campaign management, CRM strategy, and lifecycle email work are the segments most consistently offered with remote or hybrid flexibility.
