Account Supervisor Jobs in Nebraska: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a account supervisor in Nebraska?
The standard path in Nebraska is a bachelor's degree in marketing, business, communications, or advertising, followed by several years in account coordinator or account manager roles. No state-issued license is required for account supervisors in Nebraska. Employers in Omaha and Lincoln, particularly agencies and financial services firms, typically promote from within after candidates demonstrate consistent client retention and project leadership.
How much do account supervisors make in Nebraska?
Account supervisors in Nebraska earn a median of about $110,570 a year, based on May 2025 Bureau of Labor Statistics wage data, ranging from around $74,510 for the lowest 10% to over $194,650 for the top 10%. Pay rises with experience, specialty, and employer.
Which companies hire account supervisors in Nebraska?
Companies currently hiring account supervisors in Nebraska include Great Dane, Martin Marietta, and COUNTRY PARTNERS, per current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Nebraska's concentration of insurance companies, regional banks, and agricultural media firms means account supervisor openings frequently appear at both corporate marketing departments and mid-size agencies serving those industries.
Which Nebraska cities have the most account supervisor jobs?
Omaha, Lincoln, and Wayne hold the most account supervisor openings in Nebraska. Omaha drives the largest share because it is home to major insurance, financial services, and corporate headquarters that maintain in-house account teams, while Lincoln's university presence and state government sector support agency and communications roles, and any smaller cities on the list typically reflect a large regional employer or anchor institution anchoring local hiring.
Are there remote account supervisor jobs in Nebraska?
Yes, and they are more common than in many fields because account supervision is primarily a desk, communication, and strategy role that does not require physical presence. About 15% of account supervisor openings tied to Nebraska are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, reflecting demand from both local employers and national firms hiring in the state. Client strategy, campaign oversight, and reporting functions are the most frequently offered as fully remote responsibilities.
How can I get hired as a account supervisor in Nebraska with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is starting as an account coordinator or marketing associate at an Omaha or Lincoln agency, then building toward supervision through demonstrated client handling. Employers like regional advertising agencies and insurance marketing departments in Nebraska regularly hire entry-level account staff and promote internally. A portfolio of campaign work, a certificate in digital marketing, or relevant internship experience at a Nebraska firm significantly strengthens early applications and speeds the path to a supervisory title.
