About Sprig
Sprig is the customer survey platform, rebuilt around AI agents. For two decades, teams have relied on Qualtrics, Medallia, and SurveyMonkey to understand their customers. These platforms were built for a slower era, with manual setup, fragmented workflows, and insights that arrive too late to shape decisions. The gap between how fast products move and how fast research can keep up has never been wider. We're building something different. With Sprig, AI agents design studies, adapt surveys in real time, and turn responses into clear, actionable insight. Teams move from question to evidence in hours instead of weeks, without sacrificing rigor. Product teams no longer guess. They know. Our mission is to make deep customer understanding effortless and always on, so the best teams in the world can build products their customers love. Companies like Microsoft, DoorDash, Notion, Figma, Coinbase, and TripAdvisor use Sprig to stay close to their users. Backed by $85M from Andreessen Horowitz, Accel, and First Round Capital, we're growing quickly across the world's leading product organizations. The category is being rebuilt, with AI at the core. If you're excited by hard problems and the chance to define how modern teams understand their customers, we'd love to meet you.

Customer Success Manager Jobs in San Francisco: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a customer success manager job in San Francisco?
Target San Francisco's dense SaaS and cloud software companies in SoMa and Mission Bay, where most openings live. Fintech firms in the Financial District and health tech companies near Mission Bay also hire heavily. Candidates who come in with experience managing renewals, driving product adoption, or working with technical buyers stand out most in this market. A portfolio of measurable retention or expansion outcomes moves applications forward faster than a general customer service background.
Which companies hire customer success managers in San Francisco?
Companies currently hiring customer success managers in San Francisco include CRUSOE, ivo, and HARVEY, per current listings on Migrate Mate as of August 2026. San Francisco's customer success hiring is dominated by B2B software and platform companies that need dedicated post-sale teams to drive adoption, reduce churn, and expand accounts.
Are there remote customer success manager jobs in San Francisco?
Yes, customer success manager work is well suited to remote and hybrid arrangements because most of the role involves digital communication, video calls, and platform tooling rather than on-site presence. About 55% of customer success manager openings tied to San Francisco are remote or hybrid as of August 2026, reflecting how tech-forward the local employer base is. Roles focused on enterprise or mid-market accounts tend to offer the most scheduling flexibility.
How can I get a customer success manager job in San Francisco with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is through a customer support or technical support role at a San Francisco SaaS company, which builds the product knowledge and account familiarity that CSM teams look for when promoting internally. Early-stage startups in SoMa and the Financial District often hire associate CSMs with strong communication skills and some CRM exposure rather than requiring years of direct experience. Demonstrating comfort with tools like Salesforce or Gainsight and showing you can articulate customer outcomes gives candidates a real edge at this stage.
Which industries hire the most customer success managers in San Francisco?
San Francisco customer success manager roles concentrate in Technology & Software, Banking & Financial Services, and Education, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of August 2026. San Francisco's position as a global hub for B2B software and financial technology means these sectors generate a disproportionately high share of post-sale and account management roles compared to most other cities.
