JOB SUMMARY
As a member of the Strategic Account Management team, the Customer Success Manager will own the strategy and GMV performance for B-Stock's scaled seller (client) segment; a large portfolio of longtail and SMB sellers served through an efficient, one-to-many model. You'll define how B-Stock covers and grows this segment, forecast and deliver its GMV, and build the operating model and playbook as we scale. This individual will work in a hybrid function at our Boston office location 2-3 days per week.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Own GMV for the scaled seller portfolio: set targets, forecast quarterly, and deliver against the number.
- Build the coverage strategy and operating model for the segment, and define how it scales as B-Stock moves down-market.
- Segment the book and recommend where to invest for growth, retention, and reactivation.
- Develop and directly advise sellers on listing, pricing, and recovery strategies (auction, Buy-It-Now, Make-an-Offer) that lift conversion and recovery across the portfolio.
- Identify and convert growth opportunities; including new inventory, category and geographic expansion; and partner with Sales/BDR on a hunter motion; hand off breakout accounts to dedicated Account Management.
- Design the scalable engagement programs and automation that power the model, from outreach cadence to self-service.
- Report portfolio health, forecast, and performance to leadership.
- Partner cross-functionally with Account Management, Sales, Marketing, Client Services, and Product to shape the model and influence the roadmap.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS, JOB SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
- 5+ years in account management, customer success, or a seller/revenue role, including direct ownership of a revenue or GMV target.
- Track record building or scaling a coverage model, book strategy, or growth program.
- Strong commercial and analytical skills — comfortable forecasting and working in Salesforce and a BI tool such as Tableau.
- Consultative and strategic; familiarity with a sales methodology such as SPICED is a plus.
- Proven ability to influence cross-functionally and turn strategy into repeatable programs.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- B2B marketplace, recommerce, or e-commerce experience.
The pay rate for this role will range between $70,000 to $85,000, per annum. We consider many factors when determining salary offers, such as the applicant's work experience, education and training, skills, market data, and internal equity.
