We're constantly asking ourselves how we can do more and make a greater impact, and that starts by reimagining everything that a company and industry can be. We want to demonstrate that a business can scale while doing good in the world, without charging a premium for it. And we’ve learned that it takes creativity, empathy, and innovation to achieve that goal.
Since the day we launched in 2010, we’ve pioneered ideas, designed products, and developed technologies that help people see. We offer everything you need for happier eyes at a price that leaves you with money in your pocket, from designer-quality glasses and contacts to eye exams and vision tests, and you can meet us online, at our stores, or even in your home. Wherever and whenever you need it, we’re there to make exceptional vision care simple and accessible. (Delightful, too.)
Ultimately, we believe in vision for all, which is why for every pair of glasses or sunglasses we sell, a pair of glasses is distributed to someone in need through our Buy a Pair, Give a Pair program.

Data Center Construction Manager Jobs in Rhode Island: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a data center construction manager in Rhode Island?
Most Rhode Island employers expect a bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or architecture paired with hands-on experience on mission-critical projects. Rhode Island does not issue a state-specific data center construction license, but project managers working in a general contractor capacity may need a Rhode Island Contractor Registration through the Contractors' Registration and Licensing Board. Credentials such as the Certified Construction Manager designation strengthen candidacy significantly with Providence-area firms.
Which companies hire data center construction managers in Rhode Island?
Employers hiring data center construction managers in Rhode Island right now include Care New England Health System, Oak View, and Brown University Health, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Rhode Island's concentration of established general contractors and engineering firms in the Providence metro means many openings come from regional firms serving clients across southern New England.
Which Rhode Island cities have the most data center construction manager jobs?
Providence, Cranston, and Rhode Island account for the most data center construction manager openings in Rhode Island. Providence drives the largest share given its density of commercial construction activity and corporate headquarters, while Cranston and Woonsocket benefit from proximity to major logistics, healthcare, and financial services facilities that require mission-critical infrastructure upgrades.
Are there remote data center construction manager jobs in Rhode Island?
Yes, but they're rare. Data center construction management is fundamentally a hands-on, site-based role requiring daily oversight of contractors, inspections, and physical commissioning milestones. About 46% of data center construction manager openings tied to Rhode Island are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, and those positions tend to cover pre-construction planning, design coordination, or program management rather than active site supervision.
How can I get hired as a data center construction manager in Rhode Island with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is a project engineer or assistant project manager role at a Rhode Island general contractor such as Gilbane or Dimeo, where you support experienced leads on commercial or critical facilities projects. From there, lateral moves from MEP coordination or facilities management build the site-specific knowledge employers want. Pursuing a Contractors' Registration through Rhode Island's Contractors' Registration and Licensing Board and earning a LEED associate credential early on helps candidates stand out.
Where can I find and apply to data center construction manager jobs in Rhode Island?
You can find and apply to data center construction manager jobs in Rhode Island on Migrate Mate, which lists current Rhode Island openings in one place. Search the available roles, identify the ones that match your experience and location, and apply directly to the employers posting them.
