Data Management Analyst Jobs in New Hampshire: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a data management analyst in New Hampshire?
Most employers in New Hampshire require a bachelor's degree in information systems, computer science, or a related field as the baseline qualification. There is no state-issued license for this role, so candidates advance by building skills in SQL, data governance, and data quality tools through coursework, certifications such as the Certified Data Management Professional credential, and hands-on project experience. Employers in healthcare and defense often expect familiarity with industry-specific data compliance standards as well.
How much do data management analysts make in New Hampshire?
Data management analysts in New Hampshire earn a median of about $92,110 a year, based on May 2025 Bureau of Labor Statistics wage data, ranging from around $60,670 for the lowest 10% to over $145,290 for the top 10%. Pay rises with experience, specialty, and employer.
Which companies hire data management analysts in New Hampshire?
Employers hiring data management analysts in New Hampshire right now include Amphenol, L3Harris, and Dartmouth Health, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. New Hampshire's healthcare networks and defense contractors tend to post the most consistent volume of these roles across the state.
Which New Hampshire cities have the most data management analyst jobs?
Nashua, Portsmouth, and Concord have the most data management analyst openings in New Hampshire. Manchester drives the highest volume as the state's largest city and a hub for financial services and healthcare operations, while Concord draws postings through state government agencies and Nashua attracts roles tied to its concentration of technology and defense firms along the Route 3 corridor.
Are there remote data management analyst jobs in New Hampshire?
Yes, and more than most fields, because data management analyst work is desk-based and conducted almost entirely through software platforms and remote-accessible systems. About 50% of data management analyst openings tied to New Hampshire are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, reflecting broader flexibility across the sector. Data governance, reporting, and documentation-focused roles tend to offer the most remote flexibility compared to positions requiring hands-on database administration.
How can I get hired as a data management analyst in New Hampshire with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is through a junior data analyst or data coordinator role, which requires a degree but not years of prior experience and is commonly posted by healthcare systems such as Dartmouth Health and financial services firms in Manchester. Building a portfolio of SQL queries and a small data governance project demonstrates practical ability. Certifications from recognized providers and internships with New Hampshire's technology employers along the Nashua corridor help candidates stand out over others with similar educational backgrounds.
