No state-issued license applies to this role in Idaho. Employers across Boise's tech and healthcare sectors most commonly look for candidates who have completed coursework or project work involving SQL, data pipelines, and reporting tools, along with any vendor certifications in platforms like Snowflake, dbt, or Microsoft Azure that demonstrate hands-on capability.
Which companies hire data operations analysts in Idaho?
Companies currently hiring data operations analysts in Idaho include Paylocity, Simplot Company, and Micron Technology, per current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Idaho's hiring activity is concentrated among enterprise technology firms, regional healthcare systems, utilities, and financial services companies that maintain large internal data infrastructure teams in the Boise metro.
Which Idaho cities have the most data operations analyst jobs?
Boise, Meridian, and Idaho have the most data operations analyst openings in Idaho. Boise drives the majority of demand as the state's primary technology and corporate headquarters hub, home to major employers in semiconductors, healthcare, and financial services, while Nampa and Idaho Falls contribute openings from regional operations centers, utilities, and healthcare networks serving their surrounding communities.
Are there remote data operations analyst jobs in Idaho?

The most realistic entry path is through a data analyst associate or junior data coordinator role at one of Idaho's large healthcare systems or technology employers, such as St. Luke's Health System or Micron Technology, both of which recruit new graduates into structured analyst development programs. Candidates coming from adjacent roles in operations coordination, database administration, or IT support often make a lateral move into data operations by demonstrating SQL proficiency and familiarity with data validation workflows.
