- The person in this position will oversee the day-to-day operation of survey recruitment and data collection. The ideal candidate is dependable, attentive to detail, comfortable learning new things, and able to identify and solve problems independently. Because many aspects of the project will require utilizing new recruitment and survey platforms, applicants should feel comfortable taking initiative and figuring out how to complete new tasks with limited supervision.
- Primary responsibilities include set up, launch, and monitor multiple versions of online word-rating surveys. Manage participant recruitment through Prolific and other platforms. Coordinate recruitment through university student subject pools. Develop and implement social media and other online recruitment strategies. Monitor recruitment progress, participation rates, completion rates, and project costs.
- Track individual participation and demographics across platforms. Maintain accurate records of survey administration, recruitment sources, participant compensation, and data-collection progress. Provide regular progress updates and communicate promptly when problems or important decisions arise. Complete other project-related tasks as needed.
