- Ability to code in MATLAB, R studio, SPSS and SAS for final data analysis and development of predictive algorithms to predict illness.
- Ability to interpret findings using subject matter expertise and literature reviews to validate the real-time models and confirm whether the findings are normal or abnormal from expected physiologic responses to a given environment.
- Subject matter expertise in the physiologic response to cold, heat and high terrestrial altitude.
- Subject matter expertise in exercise and metabolic measurements including maximal oxygen uptake, submaximal endurance testing, and resting ventilation and pulmonary function testing.
- Subject matter expertise in phlebotomy and clinical laboratory skills in running blood gas analyzers such as the NOVA Profile Plus, Radiometer, or ISTAT clinical blood analyzers.
- Travel: CONUS travel may be required based on study schedules and mission needs.
- Must obtain a favorably adjudicated Tier 3 investigation (or equivalent). At minimum, a favorable interim suitability determination must be granted before contract work begins, pending final adjudication.
