Buchanan & Edwards is seeking a Technical Recruiter who will be responsible for full lifecycle recruiting for highly technical cleared and uncleared positions supporting Department of Defense (DoD), Intelligence Community (IC), and Federal Government customers. The ideal candidate has extensive experience identifying and engaging technical talent, building strong pipelines, and partnering with hiring managers to deliver exceptional candidates in highly competitive markets.

Clearance: Top Secret preferred
Responsibilities include:
- Manage the full lifecycle recruiting process from sourcing through offer negotiation and onboarding.
- Recruit for highly technical positions supporting Government Contracting programs, including cleared and uncleared opportunities.
- Source passive and active candidates using advanced Boolean search techniques across multiple platforms.
- Utilize recruiting resources including LinkedIn Recruiter, SeekOut, HireEZ, ClearanceJobs, Indeed, Paycom ATS, employee referrals, networking, and social media.
- Build and maintain talent pipelines for difficult-to-fill technical positions.
- Partner closely with hiring managers to understand technical requirements and provide market insights.
- Develop compelling candidate presentations and advocate for candidates throughout the hiring process.
- Effectively negotiate compensation packages and establish salary expectations early in the recruiting process.
- Maintain relationships with candidates throughout the interview, offer, onboarding, and clearance crossover processes.
- Execute recruiting marketing campaigns through phone, email, text messaging, and social media outreach.
- Track recruiting metrics and continuously evaluate sourcing effectiveness and recruiting strategies.
- Meet established recruiting KPIs while maintaining an exceptional candidate experience.
- Exercise sound judgment when handling confidential information and sensitive recruiting matters.
Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- 6+ years of full lifecycle technical recruiting experience within the Government Contracting industry (corporate or agency environment).
- Extensive experience recruiting for Department of Defense (DoD), Intelligence Community (IC), or Federal Government customers.
- Demonstrated success recruiting candidates with active Secret, Top Secret, TS/SCI, and Full Scope Polygraph clearances.
- Experience recruiting for highly technical positions across software engineering, cloud, infrastructure, cybersecurity, DevOps, and emerging technologies.
- Strong Boolean search expertise and advanced sourcing capabilities.
- Experience utilizing Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and modern sourcing platforms including LinkedIn Recruiter, SeekOut, HireEZ, ClearanceJobs, Indeed, and related recruiting technologies.
- Excellent communication, organization, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to manage multiple requisitions simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- An active LinkedIn profile with an established Government Contracting network is strongly preferred.
- Active Top Secret clearance or higher is preferred but not required.
