E-3 Visa Cardiology Nurse Practitioner Jobs
Cardiology Nurse Practitioner jobs with E-3 visa sponsorship are a realistic path for Australian NPs with cardiology experience. The E-3 requires a qualifying job offer, a certified LCA from your employer, and a specialty occupation degree match, and unlike the H-1B, there's no lottery standing between you and a U.S. cardiology role.

Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding E-3 Visa Sponsorship as a Cardiology Nurse Practitioner
Verify your APRN credentials transfer cleanly
Australian nursing qualifications and AHPRA registration don't automatically satisfy U.S. state APRN licensure. Confirm your target state's NP licensure requirements before applying, most require NCLEX-RN passage and an accredited NP program credential.
Target health systems with existing LCA history
Large hospital networks and academic medical centers file LCAs regularly and have HR teams familiar with E-3 mechanics. Cardiology-heavy systems like Cleveland Clinic, Mayo Clinic, and Kaiser Permanente are structured to support the process.
Find verified E-3 sponsorship roles on Migrate Mate
Use Migrate Mate to search Cardiology Nurse Practitioner roles filtered by E-3 sponsorship history. Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service also manages the entire process from LCA filing through consulate appointment.
Frame your cardiology subspecialty in LCA documentation
The DOL-certified LCA must reflect the specific job duties and prevailing wage for your cardiology NP role. If you work across interventional, electrophysiology, or heart failure subspecialties, ensure the LCA job description captures that specialization accurately.
Address your CGFNS credential evaluation early
Many U.S. employers and state nursing boards require a Commission on Graduates of Foreign Nursing Schools (CGFNS) credential evaluation for internationally trained nurses. This can take several weeks, so start the process before you have a firm offer in hand.
Clarify E-3 portability before signing an employment contract
The E-3 is employer-tied, so changing health systems means filing a new LCA and restarting the consulate process. Negotiate a clear start date that allows 30 to 60 days for the new employer's LCA to clear DOL certification before you give notice.

Find Cardiology Nurse Practitioner JobsCardiology Nurse Practitioner E-3 Visa: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I find Cardiology Nurse Practitioner jobs with E-3 visa sponsorship?
Migrate Mate is the most direct way to search for Cardiology Nurse Practitioner roles filtered by E-3 sponsorship. Most general job boards don't distinguish between employers willing to sponsor E-3 versus those who only handle H-1B or won't sponsor at all. Migrate Mate surfaces employers with verified E-3 and LCA filing history in cardiology and related specialties.
How much does it cost to get an E-3 visa?
Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service covers the entire process for $499, including the Labor Condition Application, visa document preparation, and consulate appointment guidance. Traditional immigration lawyers charge $2,000–$5,000+ for the same work. The E-3 has less paperwork than most work visas, so paying thousands for legal help is usually unnecessary.
Does a Cardiology Nurse Practitioner role qualify as a specialty occupation for the E-3?
Yes. Cardiology NP positions typically satisfy the E-3 specialty occupation requirement because the role normally requires at minimum a master's degree in nursing and an APRN license in a specific population focus area. The key is that your employer's LCA job description must reflect duties that genuinely require that level of specialized education, not just a preferred qualification.
How does the E-3 visa compare to the H-1B for Australian cardiology NPs?
The E-3 is available only to Australian citizens, but that exclusivity works in your favor: there's no annual lottery, no cap backlog, and approval is available year-round. The H-1B has an 85,000-slot annual cap with a randomized lottery, meaning qualified candidates are regularly rejected by chance alone. For Australian cardiology NPs, the E-3 is the more reliable path.
Can I start working while my E-3 application is being processed?
Not without a valid work authorization. The E-3 visa is issued at a U.S. consulate in Australia, meaning you'll need to attend an interview and receive the visa stamp before starting employment in the U.S. Your employer should have the LCA certified before you schedule your consulate appointment, and USCIS processing is not required for the standard consular E-3 route.
