E-3 Visa Pediatric Physician Assistant Jobs
Pediatric Physician Assistant roles qualify as E-3 specialty occupations when tied to a relevant clinical degree, making them a strong fit for Australian PAs seeking U.S. sponsorship. The E-3 has no lottery, renews in two-year increments, and your employer files the Labor Condition Application before your consulate appointment.

Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding E-3 Visa Sponsorship as a Pediatric Physician Assistant
Verify your PA credential equivalency early
Australian PA programs are still emerging, so U.S. employers will scrutinize your degree field and clinical hours. Get a foreign credential evaluation from a NACES-accredited evaluator before applying to confirm your qualification maps to a U.S. bachelor's-level specialty occupation standard.
Target pediatric hospitals with existing LCA history
Children's hospitals and academic medical centers file Labor Condition Applications regularly for clinical roles. Search DOL's OFLC disclosure database to identify employers who have certified LCAs for Physician Assistant positions, which signals they understand the E-3 sponsorship process already.
Search E-3 sponsorship jobs on Migrate Mate
Use Migrate Mate to find Pediatric Physician Assistant roles where employers have demonstrated willingness to sponsor E-3 visas. Filtering by role and sponsorship history saves you from applying to positions where employers have never navigated the LCA filing process.
Address NCCPA certification requirements upfront
Most U.S. pediatric employers require NCCPA board certification or eligibility. Clarify your certification status in your cover letter so hiring managers can confirm the role still qualifies as a specialty occupation and initiate the LCA with DOL without delays from credential questions later.
Negotiate LCA filing into your offer timeline
The DOL certifies an LCA within seven business days in most cases, but your employer must file before you can schedule your consulate appointment. Build this step explicitly into your start-date negotiation so neither side is surprised by the two-to-four-week pre-appointment lead time.
Use Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service for your paperwork
Once you have a signed offer, use Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service to handle your LCA submission, DS-160, and consulate preparation. Clinical employers rarely have in-house immigration teams, so removing that burden from HR increases the likelihood they follow through on sponsorship.

Find Pediatric Physician Assistant JobsPediatric Physician Assistant E-3 Visa: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I find Pediatric Physician Assistant jobs that offer E-3 visa sponsorship?
Use Migrate Mate to search for Pediatric Physician Assistant roles where employers are open to E-3 sponsorship. Many pediatric employers are unfamiliar with the E-3 specifically, so filtering for employers with prior visa sponsorship history significantly narrows your list to realistic targets. Migrate Mate surfaces that data so you don't spend time on roles where sponsorship is unlikely from the start.
How much does it cost to get an E-3 visa?
Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service covers the entire process for $499, including the Labor Condition Application, visa document preparation, and consulate appointment guidance. Traditional immigration lawyers charge $2,000–$5,000+ for the same work. The E-3 has less paperwork than most work visas, so paying thousands for legal help is usually unnecessary.
Does a Pediatric Physician Assistant role qualify as a specialty occupation for the E-3?
Yes, in most cases. The E-3 requires the position to be a specialty occupation, meaning it normally requires at least a bachelor's degree in a specific field. Pediatric PA roles typically satisfy this because USCIS recognizes Physician Assistant as a profession requiring specialized clinical training. Your degree must be in a relevant health sciences or PA studies field, not just any bachelor's degree.
How does the E-3 compare to the H-1B for Pediatric Physician Assistant roles?
The E-3 is substantially more practical for Australians in this role. H-1B requires entering an annual lottery with no guaranteed selection, while the E-3 has a 10,500-annual allocation that has never been fully used. You can apply for an E-3 at any point in the year, start employment faster, and renew indefinitely as long as you hold a qualifying pediatric PA position.
Can I switch pediatric employers while on an E-3 visa?
Yes, but your new employer must file a fresh LCA with DOL and you'll generally need a new E-3 visa stamp if you travel internationally. If you remain inside the U.S., some employers process a change of employer without requiring you to leave, but USCIS adjudication on that path adds uncertainty. Confirm the employer's preferred approach before resigning from your current position.
