Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding E-3 Visa Sponsorship as a Diabetes Sales Specialist
Align your degree to the role
U.S. consular officers assess whether your bachelor's degree field directly supports a Diabetes Sales Specialist role. A degree in life sciences, pharmacy, or biomedical science strengthens your case more than a general business degree alone.
Target pharma companies with LCA history
Search the DOL's Office of Foreign Labor Certification disclosure data to confirm that a prospective employer has filed Labor Condition Applications before. Diabetes device and pharmaceutical companies with LCA records are already set up to sponsor E-3 workers.
Use Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service end-to-end
Once you have an offer, use Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service to handle your LCA and visa paperwork. It manages the process from DOL certification through consulate appointment so neither you nor your employer gets bogged down in unfamiliar filings.
Verify your employer's E-Verify enrollment
Some medical device and pharma companies require E-Verify enrollment for compliance reasons. Confirm your prospective employer is enrolled before your start date, as USCIS treats enrollment status as part of the employer's overall immigration compliance posture.
Request a two-year E-3 stamp at your appointment
The E-3 visa is issued in two-year increments and is renewable indefinitely, so always request the full two-year validity at your Sydney, Melbourne, or Perth consular interview. Shorter validity periods create unnecessary renewal cycles early in your U.S. sales career.

Find Diabetes Sales Specialist JobsDiabetes Sales Specialist E-3 Visa: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I find Diabetes Sales Specialist jobs that offer E-3 visa sponsorship?
Migrate Mate is the most direct way to search for Diabetes Sales Specialist roles with confirmed E-3 sponsorship. Most general job boards don't filter by visa type, so you end up cold-screening hundreds of postings. Migrate Mate surfaces employers who have actively filed for E-3 or LCA sponsorship, so your search targets companies already set up to hire Australian professionals.
How much does it cost to get an E-3 visa?
Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service covers the entire process for $499, including the Labor Condition Application, visa document preparation, and consulate appointment guidance. Traditional immigration lawyers charge $2,000–$5,000+ for the same work. The E-3 has less paperwork than most work visas, so paying thousands for legal help is usually unnecessary.
Does a Diabetes Sales Specialist role qualify as a specialty occupation for the E-3?
Yes, provided the employer requires at minimum a bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as life sciences, pharmacy, or biomedical science for the specific position. Roles where any degree is accepted regardless of field can face scrutiny at the consulate, so reviewing the job description's educational requirements before applying matters.
How does the E-3 compare to the H-1B for Australian Diabetes Sales Specialists?
The E-3 has significant advantages for this role. There's no annual lottery, no cap backlog, and no random selection process. You can apply as soon as you have a job offer, year-round. The H-1B requires entering a lottery with roughly a 25% selection rate, then waiting until October 1 for employment to begin, which most sales employers find impractical.
Can I switch employers while working as a Diabetes Sales Specialist on an E-3?
Yes, but each new employer must file a fresh LCA with the DOL and support a new E-3 visa application before you begin work for them. There's no H-1B-style portability provision. If you're moving between medical device or pharma companies, build in enough lead time for the LCA certification process, which typically takes seven business days under standard DOL processing.
