Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding E-3 Visa Sponsorship as a Senior Digital Marketing Manager
Translate your Australian credentials for U.S. employers
Your Australian three-year bachelor's degree is generally accepted as equivalent to a U.S. four-year degree for E-3 purposes. Gather your official transcripts and have them ready to present, since U.S. hiring managers may not recognize the equivalency without documentation.
Target employers with active LCA filing history
Search DOL's Foreign Labor Application Gateway (FLAG) for companies that have recently filed Labor Condition Applications in digital marketing or related categories. Prior LCA activity signals the employer already understands the E-3 sponsorship process and won't balk at the requirement.
Find E-3 sponsoring employers through Migrate Mate
Use Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service to identify employers actively hiring for Senior Digital Marketing Manager roles with sponsorship history. The platform surfaces LCA disclosure data so you're targeting companies that have sponsored Australians before, not guessing.
Clarify specialty occupation standing before accepting an offer
Not every Senior Digital Marketing Manager role qualifies as a specialty occupation. Roles that accept any degree field, or treat the degree as a preference rather than a requirement, risk E-3 denial. Confirm the job description explicitly requires a degree in a specific discipline before you proceed.
Request employer action on the LCA before your start date
Your employer files the LCA with DOL before your consulate appointment, and DOL's standard certification window is seven business days. Build that timeline into your offer negotiation so your start date isn't compressed by an employer who underestimates the filing lead time.
Prepare your portfolio and role documentation for the interview
Consular officers assess whether your background genuinely matches a specialty occupation. Bring a brief role description outlining degree requirements, your degree certificate, and two or three examples of campaigns or strategies that demonstrate field-specific expertise beyond general management.

Find Senior Digital Marketing Manager JobsSenior Digital Marketing Manager E-3 Visa: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I find Senior Digital Marketing Manager jobs that offer E-3 visa sponsorship?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for this search. It filters roles by E-3 sponsorship history using DOL LCA data, so you're looking at employers who have actually sponsored Australian visa holders rather than companies that might be open to it in theory. That distinction saves significant time during a job search where visa eligibility is a hard requirement.
How much does it cost to get an E-3 visa?
Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service covers the entire process for $499, including the Labor Condition Application, visa document preparation, and consulate appointment guidance. Traditional immigration lawyers charge $2,000–$5,000+ for the same work. The E-3 has less paperwork than most work visas, so paying thousands for legal help is usually unnecessary.
Does a Senior Digital Marketing Manager role qualify as an E-3 specialty occupation?
It qualifies when the position requires a bachelor's degree or higher in a specific field such as marketing, communications, business, or digital media. If the job description states any degree is acceptable, or treats the degree as preferred rather than required, the specialty occupation standard may not be met. The strength of the job description is a key factor in consular review.
How does the E-3 visa compare to the H-1B for Australian digital marketing professionals?
The E-3 has a 10,500 annual allocation that has never come close to being exhausted, and there is no lottery. H-1B applicants enter a randomized selection process with a cap of 85,000 and have faced selection rates around 25% in recent years. For Australian nationals, the E-3 is a far more reliable path to sponsorship in digital marketing roles.
Can I change employers or get promoted while on an E-3 visa?
Changing employers requires a new LCA and a new visa application, since E-3 status is employer-specific. A significant promotion that changes your job title or duties substantially may also require a fresh filing. Your current E-3 does not automatically transfer, so coordinate with your new employer to start the process before your existing status ends.
