Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding E-3 Visa Sponsorship as a Partner Marketing Manager
Frame your degree for specialty occupation
E-3 requires your role to qualify as a specialty occupation. A marketing or business degree aligns cleanly, but if yours is in an adjacent field like communications or psychology, prepare a credential evaluation showing direct relevance to partner marketing work.
Target companies with alliance or channel programs
Employers running formal partner ecosystems, technology platforms, SaaS vendors, enterprise software companies, already budget for partner marketing headcount. These firms understand that E-3 sponsorship requires an LCA filing, so the process is rarely new to them.
Search for E-3 sponsorship using Migrate Mate
Use Migrate Mate to find Partner Marketing Manager roles posted by employers with E-3 sponsorship history. Filtering by visa type upfront saves you from chasing roles at companies unfamiliar with Australian treaty visa requirements.
Get your LCA filed before your start date
Your employer must file and receive DOL certification for a Labor Condition Application before you can attend your consulate appointment. Build at least two to three weeks into your timeline after accepting an offer to allow for LCA processing.
Use Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service for the paperwork
Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service manages the LCA submission, visa documentation, and consulate preparation end-to-end. This is especially useful when your employer's HR team has never sponsored an E-3 before and needs a clear process to follow.
Negotiate a start date that fits the consulate timeline
Australian consulates in Sydney, Melbourne, and Perth each have different appointment availability. Once your LCA is certified, appointment wait times vary by location and season, factor this into your offer negotiation so your start date is realistic.

Find Partner Marketing Manager JobsPartner Marketing Manager E-3 Visa: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I find Partner Marketing Manager jobs with E-3 sponsorship?
Use Migrate Mate to search Partner Marketing Manager roles filtered by E-3 visa sponsorship. Many employers with partner programs are open to sponsoring Australian nationals but don't advertise it explicitly, Migrate Mate surfaces roles from companies with demonstrated sponsorship history, saving you time on outreach that leads nowhere.
How much does it cost to get an E-3 visa?
Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service covers the entire process for $499, including the Labor Condition Application, visa document preparation, and consulate appointment guidance. Traditional immigration lawyers charge $2,000–$5,000+ for the same work. The E-3 has less paperwork than most work visas, so paying thousands for legal help is usually unnecessary.
Does a Partner Marketing Manager role qualify as a specialty occupation for E-3?
Yes, in most cases. The role must require at least a bachelor's degree in a specific field, marketing, business, or communications all work. Where applications run into issues is when a job description is written too broadly, implying any degree would qualify. Tightening the job description language with your employer before filing strengthens the case.
How does E-3 compare to H-1B for Partner Marketing Manager roles?
E-3 has no lottery and no annual cap, so you can apply any time of year as long as you have a job offer and a certified LCA. H-1B requires registration in March, selection by lottery, and an October 1 start date. For Partner Marketing Manager roles, E-3 is a significantly more predictable path if you hold Australian citizenship.
Can I change employers after starting on an E-3 in a partner marketing role?
Yes, but your new employer needs to file a fresh LCA and you'll need a new E-3 visa stamp if you travel internationally. There's no portability provision like AC21 on the H-1B. If you're already in the U.S., you can start with the new employer after the LCA is certified, but plan around any upcoming international travel.
