Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding E-3 Visa Sponsorship as a Director Of Strategic Accounts
Frame your Australian credentials for U.S. employers
A three-year Australian bachelor's degree is accepted as equivalent to a U.S. four-year degree for E-3 purposes. Prepare a credential evaluation from a NACES-approved evaluator before you start applying so employers aren't left guessing.
Target companies with active LCA filing history
Search the DOL's OFLC disclosure database for employers who have filed Labor Condition Applications for strategic accounts or enterprise sales roles. Prior LCA filings signal that a company already understands the E-3 process and won't treat sponsorship as a dealbreaker.
Search for E-3 sponsorship jobs on Migrate Mate
Migrate Mate filters Director of Strategic Accounts roles by employers with E-3 filing history, so you're not cold-applying to companies unfamiliar with Australian visa sponsorship. Use Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service to handle your LCA and visa paperwork once you have an offer.
Address sponsorship early in recruiter conversations
Enterprise sales roles often move through multiple interview rounds before compensation discussions. Mention your E-3 eligibility in your first recruiter call so hiring managers don't discover visa requirements after investing weeks in the process.
Confirm your role meets specialty occupation criteria
The E-3 requires your position to normally demand at least a bachelor's degree in a specific field. For Director of Strategic Accounts roles, a degree in business, marketing, or a closely related discipline is the standard justification. Generic management experience alone won't satisfy USCIS requirements.
Prepare your LCA before your consulate appointment
Your employer must file and receive a certified LCA from the DOL before you can attend your visa interview in Australia. Build at least two to three weeks of LCA processing time into your start-date negotiation so there's no gap between your offer and your consulate booking.

Find Director Of Strategic Accounts JobsDirector Of Strategic Accounts E-3 Visa: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I find Director of Strategic Accounts jobs with E-3 visa sponsorship?
Migrate Mate is the most direct way to find Director of Strategic Accounts roles with employers who already sponsor E-3 visas. It surfaces positions filtered by companies with active LCA filing history, so you're not starting conversations about sponsorship from scratch. Look for enterprise and SaaS employers in particular, as they hire for this role most frequently and often have established international hiring processes.
How much does it cost to get an E-3 visa?
Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service covers the entire process for $499, including the Labor Condition Application, visa document preparation, and consulate appointment guidance. Traditional immigration lawyers charge $2,000–$5,000+ for the same work. The E-3 has less paperwork than most work visas, so paying thousands for legal help is usually unnecessary.
Does a Director of Strategic Accounts role qualify as a specialty occupation for the E-3?
Yes, in most cases. USCIS requires that the position normally demands a bachelor's degree or higher in a specific field. For Director of Strategic Accounts roles, a degree in business administration, marketing, or a related discipline supports the specialty occupation classification. If the job description accepts any bachelor's degree regardless of field, that can weaken the case, so the offer letter and job duties should specify the relevant field clearly.
How does the E-3 compare to the H-1B for Australian professionals in this role?
The E-3 has a significant structural advantage for Australians. There's no annual cap lottery, so you don't need to wait for a random selection event. You can apply any time of year, and your employer can file directly with the consulate rather than waiting for USCIS petition approval. For a Director of Strategic Accounts role where the employer wants to move quickly on a candidate, the E-3 is typically much faster and more predictable than the H-1B process.
What happens to my E-3 status if I change employers?
Your E-3 visa is tied to your sponsoring employer, not your status category. If you change companies, your new employer must file a fresh LCA and you'll need a new E-3 visa stamp. You can't transfer the existing visa like an H-1B portability situation. Plan for a gap in your timeline and negotiate start dates with the new employer that account for LCA processing and, if required, a new consulate appointment in Australia.
