Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding E-3 Visa Sponsorship as a Farm Worker
Match your credentials to specialty occupation
Farm Worker roles face extra scrutiny under the specialty occupation standard. A degree in agronomy, agricultural science, or horticulture strengthens your case. Document how your role requires that specific theoretical knowledge, not just general farming experience.
Target agricultural employers with H-1B history
Employers who have sponsored H-1B workers before already understand sponsorship paperwork and DOL compliance. Search OFLC disclosure data for agricultural companies with LCA filings to identify farms and agribusinesses experienced with visa sponsorship processes.
Use Migrate Mate to find sponsoring employers
Finding Farm Worker roles with genuine E-3 sponsorship is harder than for office-based roles. Use Migrate Mate to search employers actively open to E-3 candidates in agricultural sectors, filtering by role type and sponsorship history.
Clarify the specialty occupation case early
Get your employer to document why the Farm Worker role requires a bachelor's degree before the LCA is filed. A job description that lists degree requirements as preferred rather than required can derail your application at the DOL stage.
File your LCA and visa paperwork with expert help
Agricultural employers often lack in-house immigration staff experienced with E-3 requirements. Use Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service to handle your LCA and visa paperwork, so neither you nor your employer gets stuck on an unfamiliar process.

Find Farm Worker JobsFarm Worker E-3 Visa: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I find Farm Worker jobs in the U.S. that offer E-3 visa sponsorship?
Use Migrate Mate to search for Farm Worker roles where employers are open to E-3 sponsorship. Most general job boards don't filter by visa type, which means you waste time on roles where sponsorship was never on the table. Migrate Mate surfaces agricultural employers with a sponsorship track record, saving you the back-and-forth of asking each employer separately.
How much does it cost to get an E-3 visa?
Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service covers the entire process for $499, including the Labor Condition Application, visa document preparation, and consulate appointment guidance. Traditional immigration lawyers charge $2,000–$5,000+ for the same work. The E-3 has less paperwork than most work visas, so paying thousands for legal help is usually unnecessary.
Does a Farm Worker role qualify as a specialty occupation for the E-3?
Not automatically. The E-3 requires the position to be a specialty occupation, meaning it normally requires at least a bachelor's degree in a specific field like agronomy, horticulture, or agricultural science. A general labor farming role won't qualify, but a position involving crop science, soil management, or precision agriculture operations with a degree requirement attached can meet the standard.
How does the E-3 compare to the H-1B for Australian Farm Workers?
The E-3 is available only to Australian citizens and has no lottery, meaning you can apply as soon as you have a job offer and a certified LCA. The H-1B requires entering a randomized lottery with roughly a 25% selection rate and then waiting until October 1 to start work. For Australians, the E-3 is a more direct and predictable path to the same outcome.
Can my E-3 visa be renewed if I stay in the same Farm Worker role?
Yes. The E-3 renews in two-year increments with no cap on the number of renewals, provided you maintain a qualifying job offer and specialty occupation status. Each renewal requires a new LCA certified by the DOL. If your role or employer changes, you'll need a new LCA before starting with the new employer rather than continuing under the old one.
