Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding E-3 Visa Sponsorship as an Influencer Marketing Specialist
Frame your portfolio around measurable campaign outcomes
Consular officers and employers both need to see that your role requires specialized knowledge. Quantify reach, engagement lift, and revenue attribution across campaigns to demonstrate the analytical depth that supports a specialty occupation classification under E-3.
Confirm your degree field aligns with the job description
E-3 requires a direct connection between your degree and the offered role. A marketing or communications degree maps cleanly, but a general business degree needs supporting evidence. Ask your employer to specify 'degree in marketing or related field required' in the official job description before the LCA is filed.
Target brands running in-house influencer programs
Agencies often treat sponsorship as a headcount risk. U.S. consumer brands with dedicated creator partnerships teams, particularly in beauty, retail, and CPG, handle sponsorship internally and move faster from offer to LCA filing because they've done it before.
Search for employers with active E-3 or H-1B filing history
Use Migrate Mate to filter Influencer Marketing Specialist roles by verified E-3 sponsorship history. Employers who have previously filed are already familiar with DOL prevailing wage requirements and won't treat your nationality as a complication during the offer stage.
Get the LCA certified before you resign from your current role
The DOL Labor Condition Application certification is the first hard dependency in your E-3 timeline. Standard processing runs seven business days, but errors reset the clock. Don't give notice until the certified LCA is in hand and your consulate appointment is scheduled.
Use Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service to manage your full timeline
From LCA submission through consulate prep, the paperwork dependencies are easy to missequence. Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service handles the LCA, DS-160, and supporting documentation so you can focus on onboarding without risking a delayed start date.

Find Influencer Marketing Specialist JobsInfluencer Marketing Specialist E-3 Visa: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I find Influencer Marketing Specialist jobs that offer E-3 visa sponsorship?
Migrate Mate is the recommended way to search. It filters roles by verified E-3 sponsorship history, so you're only seeing employers who have already filed for Australian nationals. Searching general job boards surfaces roles where sponsorship is listed as possible but rarely confirmed, which wastes time during the offer stage.
How much does it cost to get an E-3 visa?
Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service covers the entire process for $499, including the Labor Condition Application, visa document preparation, and consulate appointment guidance. Traditional immigration lawyers charge $2,000–$5,000+ for the same work. The E-3 has less paperwork than most work visas, so paying thousands for legal help is usually unnecessary.
Does an Influencer Marketing Specialist role qualify as a specialty occupation for the E-3?
Yes, provided the employer requires a bachelor's degree in a specific field, typically marketing, communications, or digital media, rather than accepting any degree as sufficient. Roles that include responsibilities like campaign strategy, audience analytics, and cross-platform performance measurement are easier to classify as specialty occupations than purely executional coordinator positions.
How does the E-3 compare to the H-1B for Influencer Marketing Specialists?
The E-3 has no lottery, no annual cap, and can be filed directly with a consulate without a USCIS petition, which means your start date is predictable. The H-1B requires winning a lottery slot, and registration closes in March for an October 1 start, adding months of uncertainty. For Australian nationals, the E-3 is the faster and more reliable path to the same type of employer-sponsored work authorization.
Can I switch employers or get promoted without losing my E-3 status?
You can change employers, but each new role requires a fresh LCA and a new E-3 application, either at a consulate or via change of status if you're already in the U.S. A promotion within the same company is lower risk but still requires a new LCA if your job title, duties, or worksite location changes materially. Don't change roles without confirming your new employer has started the LCA process.
