Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding E-3 Visa Sponsorship as a Content Marketing Manager
Frame your portfolio for U.S. specialty occupation
Your E-3 application requires the role to meet the specialty occupation standard. Document how your Content Marketing Manager position requires a specific degree, not just any bachelor's, so your employer can defend that requirement to the DOL.
Target employers with active LCA filing history
Search DOL's Office of Foreign Labor Certification disclosure data to find companies that have filed LCAs for marketing roles before. Employers already familiar with the process move faster and are less likely to withdraw after extending an offer.
Align your degree field with the job description
If your Australian degree is in communications, journalism, or digital marketing rather than a traditional business degree, ensure your job description explicitly ties content strategy responsibilities to that specific field. A mismatch here is the most common E-3 denial trigger.
Use Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service after accepting an offer
Once you have a signed offer letter, use Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service to handle your LCA and visa paperwork end-to-end, from DOL certification through consulate appointment preparation, so neither you nor your employer needs to coordinate an immigration attorney.
Prepare for consulate questions about dual intent
E-3 is a nonimmigrant visa, so consular officers assess whether you intend to return to Australia. Have clear, specific answers about your role scope, your employer's U.S.-based team, and your ties to Australia ready before your interview.

Find Content Marketing Manager JobsContent Marketing Manager E-3 Visa: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I find Content Marketing Manager jobs with E-3 visa sponsorship?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for Australian professionals searching for U.S. roles with E-3 sponsorship. Rather than filtering generic job boards, you can search by role and see employers with verified E-3 and LCA filing history. Content marketing roles appear across technology, media, and consumer brands, and targeting companies with prior sponsorship activity significantly shortens the process.
How much does it cost to get an E-3 visa?
Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service covers the entire process for $499, including the Labor Condition Application, visa document preparation, and consulate appointment guidance. Traditional immigration lawyers charge $2,000–$5,000+ for the same work. The E-3 has less paperwork than most work visas, so paying thousands for legal help is usually unnecessary.
Does a Content Marketing Manager role qualify as a specialty occupation for the E-3?
Yes, provided the position genuinely requires a bachelor's degree in a specific field such as marketing, communications, or journalism, not simply any degree. The DOL looks at whether the degree requirement is standard across the industry for that role. If your job description requires broad business skills without a defined field, your employer may need to refine it before filing the LCA.
How does the E-3 compare to the H-1B for Content Marketing Manager roles?
The E-3 has no annual lottery and no cap backlog, so you can start a Content Marketing Manager role at any point in the year once your LCA is certified and your visa is issued. The H-1B requires entering a lottery with roughly a one-in-four selection rate and a fixed October start date. For Australians, the E-3 is a more direct and predictable path to the same type of role.
Can I change Content Marketing Manager employers while on an E-3?
Yes, but each new employer must file a fresh LCA with the DOL and you must obtain a new E-3 visa stamp, typically through a consulate appointment in Australia or a third country. There is no portability provision like the one that exists under certain H-1B rules, so plan for a gap of several weeks between roles if a consulate appointment is required.
