E-3 Visa Account Representative Jobs
Account Representative roles in sales, client management, and business development qualify as E-3 specialty occupations when the position requires a bachelor's degree in a relevant field. Australian professionals can secure E-3 visa sponsorship without a lottery, making this one of the more direct paths to U.S. employment in commercial and enterprise sales.

Frame your Australian degree for U.S. employers
A three-year Australian bachelor's degree is generally accepted as equivalent to a four-year U.S. degree for E-3 visa purposes. Pair your transcript with a credential evaluation to preempt any questions from HR teams unfamiliar with the Australian system.
Target companies with existing LCA filing history
Account Representative roles at companies that have filed Labor Condition Applications before move faster through the E-3 process. Search DOL's public disclosure data to identify employers who have sponsored similar sales and client-facing roles.
Clarify the specialty occupation requirement upfront
Not every Account Representative role qualifies for E-3 status. Roles requiring a degree in business, marketing, or communications in the job description are stronger candidates than postings where any bachelor's degree is listed as sufficient.
Use Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service after your offer
Once you have a signed offer, use Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service to handle your LCA and visa paperwork. The LCA must be DOL-certified before you can schedule your consulate appointment, and having expert support avoids delays in that sequence.
Confirm employer willingness before your first interview
Many U.S. employers are unfamiliar with the E-3 but open to it once they understand there's no lottery and no cap. Raising sponsorship in your cover message, framed around the low administrative burden, filters out firms that won't engage before you invest time in their process.
Align your consulate appointment with your start date
Your E-3 visa stamp can be issued no more than 90 days before your employment start date. Book your consulate appointment in Sydney, Melbourne, or Perth to land within that window, and don't resign from your current role until your appointment is confirmed.
E-3 Visa Account Representative: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I find Account Representative jobs with E-3 visa sponsorship?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for Australian professionals seeking U.S. roles with E-3 sponsorship. It surfaces Account Representative positions at employers who understand the E-3 process, so you're not spending time on companies that will decline sponsorship once they learn it's required. Standard job boards don't filter by visa sponsorship willingness or visa type.
How much does it cost to get an E-3 visa?
Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service covers the entire process for $499, including the Labor Condition Application, visa document preparation, and consulate appointment guidance. Traditional immigration lawyers charge $2,000–$5,000+ for the same work. The E-3 has less paperwork than most work visas, so paying thousands for legal help is usually unnecessary.
Does an Account Representative role qualify as a specialty occupation for the E-3?
It depends on how the role is defined. A position requiring a bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field typically qualifies. Roles where the employer accepts any degree or equivalent experience are weaker candidates because USCIS and consular officers look for a direct connection between the academic requirement and the job duties. Review the job description carefully before applying.
How does the E-3 compare to the H-1B for Account Representative roles?
The E-3 has no lottery and no annual cap, so you can apply any time of year and start work as soon as your visa is issued. The H-1B visa has an 85,000-slot cap, a lottery with historically low selection rates, and an October 1 start date regardless of when you're selected. For Australian nationals, the E-3 is a faster and more predictable path to the same type of sales and client management role.
Can I switch Account Representative employers while on an E-3?
Yes, but you need a new LCA and visa documentation for each employer. The E-3 is employer-specific and position-specific, so moving to a new company requires your new employer to file a fresh LCA with the DOL. You can continue working for your current employer while that process runs, but you'll need an updated visa stamp before you can travel internationally and re-enter for the new role.
