E-3 Visa Insurance Account Representative Jobs
Insurance Account Representative roles in the U.S. qualify as E-3 specialty occupations when the position requires a bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field. Australian professionals can secure E-3 visa sponsorship without competing in the H-1B lottery, making this a direct path to U.S. insurance and financial services careers.

Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding E-3 Visa Sponsorship as an Insurance Account Representative
Align your credentials to U.S. specialty occupation standards
Your Australian bachelor's degree must demonstrably relate to the account representative role. A degree in business, finance, or commerce strengthens the specialty occupation argument. If your degree is in an unrelated field, compile documentation showing how your coursework connects to insurance and risk management.
Target insurers with existing LCA filing histories
Search the DOL's OFLC disclosure data for insurance carriers and brokerages that have previously filed Labor Condition Applications. Companies with LCA experience understand E-3 mechanics and are less likely to reject your candidacy over sponsorship concerns during offer negotiations.
Use Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service for end-to-end processing
Once you have a job offer, use Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service to handle your LCA and visa paperwork from start to consulate appointment. This is especially useful if your employer has no prior E-3 experience and needs guidance through the DOL and consulate steps.
Negotiate the E-3 prevailing wage requirement early
The E-3 requires your offered salary to meet the DOL prevailing wage for the role and location. Raise this requirement during offer negotiation, not after signing, so neither you nor the employer is surprised when the LCA wage attestation is filed.
Find Insurance Account Representative roles on Migrate Mate
Search for Insurance Account Representative positions with E-3 sponsorship on Migrate Mate, which filters specifically for employers open to Australian visa holders. This saves you from cold-applying to roles where sponsorship is a non-starter from the outset.

Find Insurance Account Representative JobsInsurance Account Representative E-3 Visa: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I find Insurance Account Representative jobs that offer E-3 sponsorship?
Use Migrate Mate to search Insurance Account Representative roles filtered for E-3 visa sponsorship. Most general job boards don't distinguish between visa types, so you waste time applying to roles where sponsorship was never on the table. Migrate Mate surfaces employers who are specifically open to Australian E-3 candidates, so your applications reach the right hiring managers from the start.
How much does it cost to get an E-3 visa?
Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service covers the entire process for $499, including the Labor Condition Application, visa document preparation, and consulate appointment guidance. Traditional immigration lawyers charge $2,000–$5,000+ for the same work. The E-3 has less paperwork than most work visas, so paying thousands for legal help is usually unnecessary.
Does an Insurance Account Representative role qualify as a specialty occupation for the E-3?
Yes, provided the position genuinely requires a bachelor's degree or higher in a specific field such as business, finance, risk management, or a related discipline. Roles that accept any degree, or that could be filled without a degree, are harder to qualify. Make sure your job offer letter specifies the degree requirement explicitly, as consular officers will review it.
How does the E-3 compare to the H-1B for Australian insurance professionals?
The E-3 is available only to Australian nationals and has a separate 10,500-annual allocation that has never been fully used, meaning there is no lottery. H-1B requires a lottery entry in April for an October start, with no guarantee of selection. For an Insurance Account Representative offer in hand, the E-3 lets you start the filing process immediately without waiting for a lottery outcome.
Can I change employers or switch insurance companies while on an E-3?
Yes, but you cannot start working for the new employer until a fresh LCA has been certified by the DOL and your new E-3 documentation is in order. Unlike the H-1B, there is no portability provision that allows you to start immediately upon filing. Plan for a gap between leaving one employer and beginning with another, or negotiate start dates accordingly.
