As part of a broader team, you collaborate with other technical program managers to ensure that work in your space aligns with work and plans of other teams across BDT and other organizations. You establish mechanisms for inspection and awareness of progress across cross cutting initiatives.
Data drives your “flywheel”. You analyze data to glean insights that drive experimentation. You leverage data such as service telemetry, user feedback, and industry trends to surface opportunities for improvement. You take what’s proven and partner with Amazon organizations to apply and scale it. You define, implement, and monitor metrics that track your progress.
You partner with Amazon’s business orgs to test hypotheses and deploy AI-based solutions to reduce friction and risk of errors in the ways that businesses use data.
You give feedback on narratives, contribute to strategy (e.g., OP1 planning), set goals, discuss weekly business metrics, and more.
You partner with Amazon’s PXT organization to evolve and optimize roles guidelines and org design best practices to align with the way businesses are evolving their practices around getting insights from their data.
You partner with engineering, human resources, legal, documentation, solution architecture, privacy, finance, and more to optimize usage of the Andes data lake for AI-based methodologies.

Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding E-3 Visa Sponsorship as a Financial Systems Manager
Align your credentials to U.S. specialty occupation standards
A three-year Australian bachelor's degree is generally accepted as equivalent to a U.S. four-year degree for E-3 visa purposes. Get a credential evaluation letter before interviewing so employers aren't raising degree equivalency concerns during offer negotiations.
Target employers with ERP and financial systems infrastructure
Search for companies running SAP, Oracle Financials, or Workday implementations, these organisations hire Financial Systems Managers regularly and already understand the complexity of sponsoring specialised technical roles under the E-3.
Clarify the LCA timeline with hiring managers early
Before accepting an offer, confirm your employer knows the DOL Labor Condition Application must be certified before you can apply for your E-3 visa. Most U.S. hiring managers haven't sponsored an E-3 before, so setting this expectation prevents last-minute delays.
Use Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service for LCA and visa paperwork
Once you have an offer, Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service manages the entire process from LCA submission through consulate preparation, which is practical when your employer's HR team has no prior E-3 experience and needs a guided process.
Document your systems management scope in writing
Consular officers assess whether your role genuinely requires a specialised degree. Prepare a one-page role summary showing the technical scope, such as multi-entity consolidations, system integrations, and financial reporting architecture, before your visa interview.
Plan your renewal around fiscal year-end project cycles
E-3 renewals require a current LCA, and employers in the middle of a financial systems upgrade or year-end close are often slow to initiate paperwork. File renewal documents at least 90 days before your current status expires to avoid a work authorisation gap.
E-3 Visa Financial Systems Manager: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I find Financial Systems Manager jobs with E-3 visa sponsorship?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for Australian professionals searching for roles with E-3 sponsorship. Rather than filtering through general job boards that don't surface visa status, Migrate Mate connects you directly with U.S. employers open to E-3 candidates in financial systems and related specialisations.
How much does it cost to get an E-3 visa?
Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service covers the entire process for $499, including the Labor Condition Application, visa document preparation, and consulate appointment guidance. Traditional immigration lawyers charge $2,000–$5,000+ for the same work. The E-3 has less paperwork than most work visas, so paying thousands for legal help is usually unnecessary.
Does a Financial Systems Manager role qualify as a specialty occupation under the E-3?
Yes. Financial Systems Manager positions typically require a bachelor's degree in information systems, accounting, finance, or a related technical discipline, which satisfies the E-3 specialty occupation requirement. Roles overseeing ERP platforms, financial data architecture, or enterprise reporting systems have a clear degree-to-job-duty connection that holds up under consular review.
How does the E-3 compare to the H-1B for Financial Systems Manager roles?
The E-3 has no annual lottery and no cap, so you can apply any time of year and your employer doesn't need to win a random draw. H-1B visa registration opens once a year and is subject to a lottery with no guarantee of selection. For Australians, the E-3 is a direct path, whereas H-1B eligibility depends on luck as much as qualifications.
Can I change employers while on an E-3 as a Financial Systems Manager?
Yes, but the E-3 is employer-specific, so each new role requires a new LCA certified by the DOL and a new E-3 visa issued by a U.S. consulate. You can't transfer your existing visa to a new employer the way some other visa categories allow. Plan for a four- to eight-week lead time between accepting a new offer and your start date.
